"Throw a javelin at me, will ya?" Bible asks as she stands from ducking and moves up to the edge of the writhing roots.

"It takes two to play that game, WHAM!" she says as she picks up one of her axes and throws it at the restrained orog.

Figuring the orc caught in the roots will likely join the party's cause, Bible tries to grab and pull it to safety.

OOC:
Strength (Athletics) with advantage: 2D20.HIGH(1)+9 = [4, 5]+9 = 14

Whoops, that should have been a normal roll, so the result's a 13 for the grapple check, I guess.

Legend
The half-ogre in the tunnel raised his axe up, knocking dirt from the ceiling as he brought it down once more toward Jack. Jack was quick, and he dropped his crossbow and a dagger was in his hand, which he stuck into the orog's throat. The orog gurgled, and his mighty blow weakened as Jack rolled his shoulder, lessening the impact.

The orcs surrounded the orog pounding on him with pick and morningstar. But the half-ogre's heavy armor took the worst of the blows. Though it was bloodied and gurgling, the brute refused to go down.

Further south, Bible picked up an axe and threw it at the orog who was stuck in Quinn's vines. She tried to pull out the orc who was also in the vines, but he was stuck fast. The orog, however, having been bashed with a hand-axe, suddenly tore free and began to run toward the east.

OOC: Jack did 24 to Orog4; Bible did 8 to Orog5, grabbed orc5; Orog4 got Jack for 7 (so 3 with uncanny dodge); Orcs got Orog4 for 7; Orog5 escaped the entangle, but Orc5 did not. Still @Shadowedeyes Valda, @TerraDave Tenibor, & @Blue Eoghan to go for the round.

"Erm, excuse me, pardon me."

Eoghan made his way to be in front of the orcs so he could see what's going on.

He looked at the closest Half-Ogre, "Giant wannabe, you're shorter both on top and on bottom than any of the dwarves."

OOC: Vicious Mockery: DC 17 WIS save or 3 psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack.
Vicious Mockery: 2D4 = [1, 2] = 3

Legend
While the orog blocking the tunnel bashed at Jack, Valda drew her sword and skewered the brute, who dropped his axe and fell to the floor.

Eoghan pushed his way through the crowd of orcs and mocked the orog who was running to the east. For a brief moment, the orog slowed, as if considering turning around to fight, but he continued eastward.

Tenibor listened. As the din of battle died down, his elven ears picked up a sound that had been hidden behind the others. The deep, low rumble of a giant snoring - like two large stones being rubbed together - coming from forward and to the east.

OOC: Valda killed Orog4; Eoghan mocked Orog5; Tenibor listened (I felt like rewarding you for your tenacity to the tactic).

Seeing that her effort to free the restrained orc failed, Bible picks up her other axe, wanting to pursue the fleeing orog before it alerts the sleeping giants, and thinks to the druid as quick as thought, ~<If you could poskibly untangle these roots from blockin' the enktrance, Quinn me love, it would be most appreshkiated.>~
