Far from the villages and towns which dot the landscape, deep within the hollows of the forest is a glade like none other. Flowers and trimmed hedges, well maintained, dot the glade as a small stream runs through it and into a small pool near a mossy, rock outcropping. The smell of freshly overturned earth hangs in the air and the grass is soft beneath the feet. Roots from nearby trees cross and bend to form arches and gateways which vines and flowers have long since grown over. In the center of the center of this glade is the stump of what was once a massive tree, spanning thirty feet from one side to the other. At the very center of the stump is small, circular pit three feet across and a foot deep. Ashes and soot cake the sides and floor of this small pit. A fine woven mat lies on either side of the pit, the only objects which seem man-made here.
The most notable feature however are the seven stone pillars which surround the stump. Obviously ancient, vines and moss have managed to cover the stones making the runic markings on them unreadable. The pillars stand at least fifteen feet tall and are an arms length around. What these pillars are doing in the middle of nowhere seems a mystery, but they dominate the landscape of the glade.
In this glade stands a man with stiking, unkempt silver hair hanging to his shoulders, staring at the sky. Thin, but muscular, his most striking feature are that his eyes are completely white, covered by a think milky film. A red scar run vertically through each orbit, stretching for inches above and below the eye. Dressed in only loose-fitting black pants, he first sniffs the air and cocks his head before walking, without hesitation, to the center of the stump where he sits on one of the mats. He reaches into a neaby bowl and crumbles what look like leaves into the pit. A pungent smell fills the air as he reaches one had directly over the pit and it sets ablaze causing thick bluish-green smoke to rise in a column from the pit-cum-brazier.
Deep in concentration, the man begins to hum slowly and then opens his mouth to speak, "I am Uziel, the Sightless, Oracle of the Seven Pillars. The future, the past, and all in between is laid bare before me. If a question is burning in your soul, then I am the one to ask. However, if come seeking answers and you will find only ruin. Come seeking wisdom and your thirst will be quenched."
OOC: If anyone has any IC questions they would like to consult The Oracle about, place them in this thread (with appropriate flavor text) and see what answers the Oracle can give you. These could be about fights, relationships, death, anything. Just thought i would be fun to do. Remember, the Oracle knows all!
