Gnash decides to stay on full defense, but he moves slightly to his right, blocking the tunnel to the northwest so that the Goblin cannot escape that way. While Keira and Rebecca try to wade their way through the now-subsiding waters, Endurance runs up the stairs and joins Gnash, his horns coming down towards the Goblin. The attempt at goring the poor beast fails, but only just.
Ana continues to wait outside the cave entrance, getting a bit antsy at having to stay put until the water subsides where she is.
The Goblin, now outnumbered in its little cave 3-1, decides that valor is the better part of bravery. It disengages from the fight and starts moving towards the southeast corner of the cave; Rebecca, Gnash and Endurance can see there appears to be an off-shoot tunnel or cave right near where the Goblin is moving towards.

First, sorry about the lack of posting this week. Our area at work is going through some major changes, which means my workload has doubled in the last 3 business days.
Secondly, the tunnel is now considered to be Difficult Terrain due to how wet it is with the rushing water AND the fact that the water is at least ankle-deep in some spots. Running up the stairs also counts as Difficult Terrain, and the cave the Goblin is in is littered with rock and stone; you can all assume that any movement while in combat here is in Difficult Terrain.
And third, the Goblin did use the Disengage action (in the event anyone was curious).
Ana has 1 round remaining of waiting patiently. And she cannot hear squat from inside the cave.
The sleeping Goblin will wake up in 8 rounds (if my math is right?).
