Keira and Ana hold their ground out of the flood waters, while Endurance and Rebecca brace themselves for the second flood. Endurance and Rebecca are both holding themselves in the water, even if they are now more wet than they were before.

Further in the cave, Gnash takes out the prone Goblin, ending its life with relative ease. One of the two remaining Goblins moves forward and attempts to stick Gnash with his scimitar, while the other remaining Goblin quickly moves to the south and out of your vision.

OOC: As a note, I generally roll the dice and say that the attack hit X AC. It is then up to you guys to determine if it hit you or not and respond accordingly. Not sure if I stated that already or not, but I'm stating it again just so we are all on the same page. :)

Goblin Attack on Gnash: [roll0]
Goblin Damage: [roll1]

Ana has 3 rounds remaining at the cave entrance.
Keira, Endurance, and Rebecca have one more round of waiting for the flood waters to pass.

Gnash grimaces as the foul goblin's blood splatters on the wall. One down. As the other goblin rushes at him, Gnash raises his shield just in time, catching the scimitar mid-swing. Taking a defensive posture, he turns to face the remaining creature.

OOC: Gnash has an AC of 18, so the goblin's swing missed. He is taking the Dodge action. Attacks against him have Disadvantage, and he has Advantage on Dexterity saves.

The Goblin curses under his breath that he missed. But he is going to try and rectify his own short-comings by swinging at Gnash again!

OOC: Missed that you were defensive at this point, which is why the delay. I see that the attack has disadvantage, so I'll roll all that right here!

Normal Attack Roll: [roll0]
Disadvantage Attack Roll: [roll1]
Damage: [roll2]

Ana has 2 rounds remaining at the cave entrance.
Keira, Endurance, and Rebecca may all now act as the flood waters have passed by. You are currently unable to hear any of the fighting going on; you will be able to hear that after Gnash's next action.

Sticking his tongue out at the goblin, Gnash moves himself to cutoff the goblin's escape to the southwest. As he hears the waters subside he calls out, "A little help here folks!" and continues focusing on dodging the goblin in front of him.

OOC: Gnash is taking the Dodge action again.

Keira hops over the receding waters and into the welcoming light cast from Endurance's shield. She pushes forward, darting around the narrow steps and trying to get into a position to see what is going on. As she moves, she pulls forth her blades to have them at the ready.

OOC: Objection Interaction: Draw swords (dual wielder)
Action: Dash 60'
Move: with difficult terrain passing allies, I think I can make it to about two squares north two squares west of Gnash.
HP: 9/9 AC: 16

As soon as the water subsides, Endurance makes his way forward as quickly as he can...

OOC: A. Okay, this is just the move part of the action, but there are enough variables that I feel I need to break it up. The water subsides, and with one hand on the right wall he's going to make his way forward. Is it normal terrain (wet, uphill?). If not, the go to B. If so, then he moves 30', and then will take his action [see C below].

B. If it is difficult terrain, then he's going to have to do a double move. That will be using the dash action. He'll still move 30', and perhaps be at the top and against an opponent. Goring rush means he gets to use a bonus action to attack. Assuming there's a target, it's [roll0] to hit, and if successful damage = [roll1]. I think he has light with him and can otherwise see, but if he can't then the attack would be at disadvantage. If that's so it's the worse of the above roll and [roll2].

C. If it's not difficult terrain, then he gets a regular attack. Warhammer [roll3]. If successful damage = [roll4]. He can then use his bonus action to shove the creature aside, but unless he sees more creatures up there, there's no obvious advantage to do so. But let me know.

Gnash decides to stay on full defense, but he moves slightly to his right, blocking the tunnel to the northwest so that the Goblin cannot escape that way. While Keira and Rebecca try to wade their way through the now-subsiding waters, Endurance runs up the stairs and joins Gnash, his horns coming down towards the Goblin. The attempt at goring the poor beast fails, but only just.

Ana continues to wait outside the cave entrance, getting a bit antsy at having to stay put until the water subsides where she is.

The Goblin, now outnumbered in its little cave 3-1, decides that valor is the better part of bravery. It disengages from the fight and starts moving towards the southeast corner of the cave; Rebecca, Gnash and Endurance can see there appears to be an off-shoot tunnel or cave right near where the Goblin is moving towards.

OOC: First, sorry about the lack of posting this week. Our area at work is going through some major changes, which means my workload has doubled in the last 3 business days.

Secondly, the tunnel is now considered to be Difficult Terrain due to how wet it is with the rushing water AND the fact that the water is at least ankle-deep in some spots. Running up the stairs also counts as Difficult Terrain, and the cave the Goblin is in is littered with rock and stone; you can all assume that any movement while in combat here is in Difficult Terrain.

And third, the Goblin did use the Disengage action (in the event anyone was curious).

Ana has 1 round remaining of waiting patiently. And she cannot hear squat from inside the cave.
The sleeping Goblin will wake up in 8 rounds (if my math is right?).

Keira struggles against the last of the water slicked stairs and takes up a defensive position between the minotaur and the mage.

OOC: HP: 9/9 AC: 16
Move 15' up the stairs
Action: Dodge (disadvantage to attacks)

Gnash moves 10' to the east, sheathing his axe on his back and drawing a javelin.

OOC: Move 10' to east and sheathe axe for free during movement. Use action to draw a javelin.

Endurance continues pursuing the goblin, and attacks, swinging his war hammer.

OOC: Move to the square between the goblin and the second pool, perhaps the square NE of the goblin (ensuring there is room, and seeing what's beyond?)

Warhammer: [roll0] to hit; if successful damage = [roll1].

Bonus (hammering horns): attempt to shove (push 5' West?): better of [roll2], [roll3]. If successful maybe this triggers an opportunity attack? (I really don't know).

Keira moves up the stairs, stopping next to Rebecca, as Gnash moves a bit to the East, hoping to prevent any attempt at escape. Endurance charges forward, swinging his hammer at the Goblin as he rushes the beast; the hammer misses, but he brings his head down, connecting with his horns! The Goblin is thrown into the wall to the west, and looks a bit googly for it.

2 more Goblins spill into the cave, almost as if they were shoved or pushed, with one of them stopping just short of where Endurance stands. Endurance can kind of see that there is a room up a small set of stone stairs, and he can catch a bit of movement from what looks like a dog and a larger Goblinoid-ish creature; you cannot tell exactly what it is you see.

OOC: Ana is now free to move into the cave complex; the terrain is considered to be Difficult.

The sleeping Goblin will wake in 7 turns.

Endurance turns to the goblin right in front of him and raises his war hammer. brings it crashing down on the small creature.

OOC: Attack Goblin 2. [roll0]. If a hit, damage = [roll1].

If the goblin is still standing, Endurance shifts his position (currently N of Goblin 2; move one square E and one square S, to end up E of Goblin 2, making room for others.)

If the goblin is not standing, he moves forward onto the space that it once occupied.

With the water finally subsided and no one else having been washed out, Ana moved as quickly as she could into the cave.

[sblock=Game Mechanics]
OOC: Move: As far as she can
Action: Dash - as far as she can.

I can't really follow the squares on the map, but Ana will move as far as she can given the terrain, following the sounds of battle as best she could. Her total move with dash is 70 feet. Given difficult terrain, she can move 35 feet.

Keira darts forward over the rocks, sword flicking out at the nearest goblin, and following up with a sweeping kick.

OOC: HP: 9/9 AC: 16
Move 10' (1 square south, 1 square southeast)
Action: Attack Goblin 1
attack - [roll0]
damage - [roll1]

Bonus Action: Martial Arts (Goblin 1, or continue forward and attack Goblin 3 if first target is down)
attack - [roll2]
damage - [roll3]

OOC: I just want to say that I am completely confused as to which token represents which character. [MENTION=6800672]Egon[/MENTION], if you could provide a legend at some point, that would help.

Gnash hurls his javelin at the nearest goblin.

OOC: [roll0]
[roll1]

Then, almost before the javelin has hit the mark, he leaps forward, his axe flashing in his hand once more. He moves around the goblins, right in the entrance of the passageway, trying to block the foul vermin from coming forward.

Rebecca still hitching her dress up runs up after Gnash, hopefully the huge warrior wont get too far ahead and cut off from the rest of the group. Noticing the carnage he is comitting, she ceases he worry.
