The Nameless takes a coin, clenching it in his left fist as he begins to climb down into the pit. As he goes, he does his best to move silently, and aside from ensuring that his path is clear of obstacles, does his best to shield the glow from his hand.

Legend
Nameless leads the way down the long ladder into a long, wet, winding tunnel. Dug under the city by smugglers, not sappers, the tunnel winds sometimes upward, but mostly down as well as side-to-side. Occasional support beams hold sputtering torches, just far enough apart that it is very nearly fully dark between them. From the dank smell, the tunnel is likely flooded by the highest of tides, or perhaps constantly leaks sea-water. Where the digging was easy, the tunnel is as wide as fifteen feet, and where it was not, the width narrows to only a few feet. Occasionally it splits where the builders must have dug one tunnel, and then found it to be unsatisfactory and instead dug another one. They eventually converge again so that the tunnel most certainly leads, overall, toward the docks of the Tiryki Anchorage.

Standing at the top of the pit as the others descend first, the dwarf rubs his hands together. "Finally, some action." he says with a grin.

OOC:
Marching order then is Nameless, Chrysagon, Miss Imogen, Rodrigo, Dellrak -
When it's single file, going by twos when it opens up at the easier to dig areas.
And group Stealth Challenges yeah!

Miss Imogen's composure is sorely tested by all the noise her companions are making in the name of silence. Nevertheless, she says nothing, for one never knows how much noise one makes one's self.

She does not take one of the coins, though she is impressed with the trick. For now, the others will ensure there is sufficient light. One hand is on her bow, at her side. The other feels its way along the wall, which is damp to the touch.

OOC: Stealth: [roll0].

"If dae tide do be in on us," Dellrak says as he descends, "then I be countin' it as me bath for the we--"

*Krack*

The bottom rung of the ladder breaks off as the dwarf puts his weight on it. He cringes at the base of the ladder.

"Errr... sorry."

Legend
The group traveled along the coiling path, damp mud soiling their boots. They passed a spot where the wall on the left was made from a huge rock, and the sound of waves crashing on the other side of the rock could just be heard. Further along from that, there was a spot with a dangerous-looking roof of loose dirt. Several sputtering torches were attached to support-beams and from around a bend in the just ahead, voices were chatting softly.

As the group crept forward the conversation stopped suddenly and instead one said, "Who's there? Speak the password!"

"Nahu says your operations been compromised. We're here to help you close up shop."

The Nameless stepped out into the light, right hand glowing and leaning slightly on his 'walking' staff. Looking for all the world to be a mage.

OOC: No idea what the password is, so a name drop will have to do.

Deception:: 1D20+4 = [19]+4 = 23
