D&D 5E (IC) Fitz's Folly

The first arrow missed, but a second was quickly nocked, and sent swiftly towards the clearest uninjured target Miss Imogen can see [if more than one, then a crossbowman].

Initiative: [roll0].
To hit: [roll1], for [roll2] piercing.

(well; she's missing consistently.)

She steps back, around the bend to get out of the line of fire.

Nameless

Nameless clobbered the leading man with his quarterstaff and the man stumbled forward, but as he went to follow that up with a knock-out strike to the back of the head, the man rolled to the side at the last moment. He spun around, drawing a sword which he held before him in a shaking hand.

"What is this? Who are you?" he asked.

GM: Now you can all post for round two. (Other than Miss Imogen!)
Damage Taken: (PCs) None; (BGs) Ruffian 2 10

Encounter: Ruffians in the 'Coils

Begin Round Two

OOC: I'd do a more 'official' round-end with positions and a map, but this is pretty simple and going to be over fast, anyway.

The thug moved quickly and avoided the chop that Dellrak hoped would end this fight quickly. He was sure he could handle a few underpaid henchmen in an old tunnel, it wasn't like he was fighting an ogre patrol in Blizzard Pass. Now that had been a fight.

OOC: Attack same thug: [roll0]
still 2-handed [roll1]
will knock unconscious if he drops to 0
may need some interrogation time
if he does drops will use movement to get within threat range of thug2

Rodrigo saw Dellrak clobber the thug on the head with the flat of his axe and nodded in approval.

(OOC: this is assuming that the first thug is down, if he isn't Rodrigo will stay put. If he is he moves)

He darted towards the second ruffian, pinning the foe's sword away with his main-gauche and closing in to smash his rapier's pommel into the ruffian's head.

attack on second ruffian: 1D20+5 = [3]+5 = 8

However the ruffian reflectively yanked his sword away and Rodrigo was unable to follow through - he stepped sideways and back, unwilling to risk being impaled, and extended the point of his rapier towards the foe.

"Yield"
