As the creature yanks his foot out from under him, the monk kicks off with his other foot, trying to twist out of the grip. Unfortunately, he misjudges his angle and instead slips out of view. There is no sound of screaming, no sickening crunch. A moment later Ukee flits up, harrasing the gargoyle and then an arrow flies up, ricocheting off of the creature's hide.

Ukee is helping on the first shot. Which still gor the worse roll. LOL

The Gargoyle claws at Miss Imogen, and she feels its talons on her boww arm. There's no apparent damage, but the lingering sense of the creatures touch makes her shiver for the first time in what seems like weeks.

She nocks an arrow and moves south to get a clear shot at the creature attacking Myrral. It appears to pierce the creature's skull. For a moment, she wonders if this creature, so like the carved figures adorning the School where she was fostered, is also made of stone.

OOC: Move 30' to V22.
Attack: Gargoyle 2 (q23), with Sharpshooter (no range limit). 1d20+4=21. Damage = 1d8+14=20 piercing.

Hit points: 38/38
Fighting Spirit: none left. Action surge: used. Second Wind: not used.
19 arrows (less this combat: 3).

Myrral slips behind the creature and rattles his fetishes.
"Think on what you're doing, gargoyle." hisses Myrral in Chult language as he slaps the creature on the back. "Your life could be so much better if you didn't fight all the time!"

Move: Q24 to flank with Chrysagon
Action: Cast Bestow curse with 'no-action' option - WIS DC 14 each round or DO NOTHING as he thinks over his life choices :)

Bag-of-Nails came bounding up the road on all-fours calling to Myrral in their language, saying, "Hooraw! Tell your ape-folk to watch out! Them's the scoopers, and they work for him! Orraaoo! Here they go!"

Sure enough, Ukee was flitting about a gargoyles head when Dellrak and Harb put arrows into it. The big stone creature, with its drooping jaw, spun about and scooped the little monkey into its net and flew off.

Another gargoyle swooped in, similarly scooping Dellrak into its net, and it flew off (having considerably more trouble flying with the dwarf weighing down its net), following the other one. Qawasha flung fire from his staff, to no avail, and Weed hit the thing with a stone that made a loud noise, but the gargoyle flew on.

Chrysagon and Myrral were making it impossible for the last gargoyle to do the same. The paladin struck it with his flail while the cat-shaman bamboozled it with his magical trickery. The thing stood, rocking back and forth and waving its wings in circles, stunned.

Myrral leaves dazed gargoyle behind as he sprints on all fours toward the one carrying Dellrack. As he nears the edge and comes almost shoulder to shoulder with the flying statue, he unfurls his hunting net covering its wings. Sharp claws woven into it catch onto its skin and it starts sinking almost immediately.

OOC: not sure if cursed one can make OA, but Myrral will take the hit if needed

Move: to U12 or V12 using Tabaxi dash (Feline Agility) :)
Throw net over the Gargoyle - rolled with advantage because of the weight, if it doesn't apply to hit is 16

Dellrak found himself scooped up in the net of one of the gargoyles. He swore in dwarvish, struggling to escape the netting before he was flown too high. He grunted, his muscles swelling, and the net tore, freeing the dwarven ranger.
