Harb watched in dismay as Ukee was swiftly scooped up in the creature's net and summarily taken. Harb could vaguely feel the direction they were heading and though thos wall seemed insurmountable in the moment, he took off to see if he could get ahead of them. In the meantime, Ukee attempted to slip out of the net.

Double-move north along the wall.

Ukee will attempt to escape and them fly back towards the group.

Miss Imogen sees the creature she has just attacked with an arrow through where its heart should be, fighting on and now surrounded by her companions. It's thewn she hears the peals of terror from Ukee. She steps to the other side of the road, where she will have a clearer shot, and fires at the retreating gargoyle.

As she does so, her bowstring snaps, the humidity of the jungle finally having taken its toll.

Miss Imogen then utters a word that would not have been allowed at Miss Enna's school.

Legend
Oohoo! There they go! Scooping you up!" called Bag-of-Nails and he sent one quick arrow at a gargoyle that bounced off it's stony back.

Myrral ran along the road as the gargoyle (who was carrying Dellrak) rose into the air, and just before it was out of reach, he flung his net over the thing, thinking to pull it back before it left the road. Unfortunately, the gargoyle was strong, and it dragged the catfolk toward the ledge before tearing free of the net.

Dellrak was not going to allow himself to be taken by some stone-demon, so he tore his way free of the creature's heavy net, but by the time he did, he was over forty feet above the ground and just off the side of the road. He fell free, and he hoped to be able to grab the ledge as he did.

Qawasha flung flames at that gargoyle as it flew away with its only net now ruined.

As Ukee struggled in vain to free herself from the other gargoyle's net, Imogen and Weed sent arrows and stones to help her, but only one small stone struck with any force. The gargoyle flew off, swinging the net into the side of a building in an attempt to knock out the little monkey before she could escape, but Ukee kicked off the building with her little feet while shrieking.

Harb could hear her calls, though he was down on the other side of the road, and he ran northward, looking for a way back up. He came to a spot where the road had crumbled, leaving a pile of rubble and a crack that he could easily wedge himself into and shuffle up.

Chrysagon swung his flail at the cursed gargoyle. The creature blocked it with a wing, but stood there rocking back-and-forth, still under the effect of Myrral's curse.

Her bow useless in her hand, Miss Imogen sees the gargoyle flying away with Ukee, and there being nothing she can do about it. From where she stands she pivots and points to another of the stony beasts and tears what little heat resides within it away.

Round 5

“Mebbe no’ the brightest move,” Dellrak had to admit to himself as he fell free of the net. He twisted and managed to hit the edge of the road with a grunt, strong fingers grabbing into cracks in the old stone road to keep himself from falling over the edge.

Pulling himself back up onto the road, Dellrak stood and reloaded his crossbow. “Stupid stone monsters,” he muttered as he aimed for the gargoyle carrying Ukee away and fired.

The gargoyle continued to look confused and did nothing. Chrysagon did not wait and attacked again. The flail started to glow as it connected on top of the gargoyle's skull with a great thud. Chrysagon could feel the divine power flowing through his mighty flail. The gargoyle was more than confused now.
