Weed quickly loads another stone, but again it goes wide. He sees what Qawasha is doing wit the Cauldron, but does not think he can make it to be of help, and so remains close to Miss Imogen. He squeaks in disappointment.

"It is fine Kapalue. you must stay safe," Miss Imogen says, ans she pulls out an arrow, aims, and releases. The arrow goes right through the eye socket, as it crumbles to the ground.

She turns and scans the room. There's one nect to Ussal. She takes a few steps and fires a second arrow at it, the one that already has its ribs cracked.

OOC: Weed with a sling against the 1 hp skelly: 1d20+6=11 MISS.

With a sudden strange gait and another weird sound coming out of his throat as he tried to warn Ussal about the new skeletons, Chrysagon moved up to the skeleton clawing at Ussal. He struck the first skeleton low and it collapsed to the ground. The second skeleton received the strike to the head and it, too, fell to the ground.
Meeeehhh!!!
Chrysagon looks around confused.

Grrol had heard the sounds of battle from far away. His feline ears followed the sound until he and Braapp turned a corner and found his lost traveling companions. It seemed they were having fun without them! How dare they fight skeletons without inviting the best warriors here.

Wasting little time, he twirled his new sword around in a fancy display of swordsmanship. He was getting used to it. It even talked to him! Smiling broadly, he leapt into action running at the nearest skeleton with his sword leading the charge.

"Miss me?" Grrol asked in his native language as he ran past his lost companions.

Ooc: attacking one of the skeletons near Ussal. Attack:

1d20+8: 10 [1d20=2 Well, that's not the best 1st impression for a character.[/TD]

Legend
Ussal fought off two of the remaining skeletons while Grrol bounded across the room on all-fours to help him, but slid to a stop with too much momentum, missing his target with his new, odd-looking blade.

Imogen shot one of the skeletons by Ghorruk, but Weed missed their mark, squeaking in disappointment.

OOC: More to come. Sorry for the delays! Ussal did 13 to TS5f & 8 to TS6b; Imogen killed TS5e; Weed missed; @Hades#2 did you mean to Tabaxi-run all the way across the room? Should be able to reach it, sure. @Neurotic, I think I still need a turn from you. (& @gnarlygninja if you're still around!)

Myrral runs in front of Cryssagon, somewhat uneasy because of his weird behavior, but still, he's not totally unaware, but focuses on skeletons surrounding Ussal.

Whip won't hurt the bones, but he can hold the creature so that Ussal and now Grrol can deal with it. He unfortunately pulls the whip back to early, hollows in the skeletal body not catching the end of the whip and it snakes back toward him without hurting nor restraining the undead.

Move: BI70
Attack: one of the two skeletons on the left of Ussal, whichever looks better
Whip snare vs skeleton; slashing damage: 1D20+6 = [7]+6 = 13
1D4+3 = [3]+3 = 6
- snare, skeleton needs to make STR DC 14 or be restrained
  • Snare. As part of your attack action, you may snap your whip around a creature or its weapon. If you target the weapon, the creature must make a Strength saving throw or drop its weapon at its feet. If you target the creature, it must make a Strength saving throw or be restrained. It may repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns. You cannot make whip attacks until the restrained condition is ended.

Legend
Myrral came to greet his kin, but missed with his whip in his enthusiasm. Chrysagon crossed the floor, bleating strangely while he pummelled the last few skeletons around Ussal to the floor in a scattering of bones.

Qawasha was trying to destroy the last cauldron, but it seemed to be grounded as he shot a burst of lightning into it, doing no noticeable damage. Fed up, Ghorrak kicked his last skeleton into the wall, crushing it, and he rushed across the ground, bringing his sword down on the cauldron as it began to spew another skeleton. Both were smashed as glass and bones scattered across the floor.

One skeleton had escaped, and it clawed at Qawasha before it was finally put down by the combined efforts of everyone left standing.

For a moment, all stood around in a daze. This fight had been exhausting and they'd lost two of their own: Yassah was gone, and the broodguard stood over its master's corpse, protecting it still. Dellrak was a pile of dust. It had only been a few months since they had met aboard the ship to Port Nyanzaru, but Chrysagon and Imogen had gone through so much with Dellrak during the time since, that his loss appreciably stung.

The whole thing had been something of a disaster.

OOC: Okay, so Myrral missed, but Chrysagon finished off the last Skeletons around Ussal. Qawasha missed the last Cauldron, but Ghorruk killed his last skelton and smashed the Cauldron. Still a couple of skellies to go, who did 6 to Qawsha but missed Ghorruk. BUT... the party will certainly crush them next round, so I'm just going to call it here for expediency's sake.

Chrysagon dispatched the last skeleton and then stopped, looked around and cleared his throat. That was weird, he said, meeeh-ybe it is something in the air that is irritating meeeh-y throat.

Legend
In the time that Imogen had known Chrysagon, he had always been cleanly shaven. But now he appeared to be sporting a chin-beard. But that wasn't the strangest thing about his face - his eyes had horizontally elongated pupils that were almost rectangular in shape.

"This confirms the deadliness of this place." Myrral comments as everyone gathers together
"The tribe that gets separated, gets decimated."

Groll looked around the room at the dead bodies and defeated skellies. He didn't like the snake man very much but it still saddened him a bit to see him dead. After all, one less fighter against whatever else they may encounter is always something to be sad about.

He shrugged his shoulders before admonishing his new sword for missing the skellie.

"What did I miss?" He asked Myrral
