Trying to follow the tracks of the horse and dogs keeps leading you back to here. Of the goblin tracks some lead from and toward the direction of the goblin camp. Others are like the horse and dog tracks and just lead back to here. The other animal tracks seem to just pass through.

Wireth frowns.

"Less and less sense," he mutters as he leads the group in a circle for a third time. "Everything comes back here, but clearly there aren't any animals here to find, and no signs anyone's buried them. I just ... " he growls and sighs.

"Looks like I've just wasted our time," he says. "We can dig around the hulk a bit more, or head to the next point on the map, but I think I've run out of useful clues here, at least as far as my limited skills go. Maybe if Shelelu were here..."

Trudging right along behind Wireth, things didn't feel quite right to Fastus either, but in a greater sense. Off or something, right? Hadn't been quite straight since... well, since Ameiko refused to come, probably? Or maybe after that weird bit with Jariah? (The SECOND one, at the Soggy's).

"Do you guys feel it too? Like the day's grayer than it should be, or something..."

Killing the Soggy was EXCITING... then it faded right off.

Finding a lost ship from TIAN, of all places... and then it faded right off.

[sblock=OOC]No reflexion on the game, TS. Fastus' personal bagage is just catching up with him. :)[/sblock]

After going around in circles without really finding anything, Jariah had to agree that it was time to move along. Jakira was also picking up some of the sullen mood from Fastus.

Jariah commented, "I guess we should be moving along to the next place on that map. You did your best, Wireth. What else can you do?"

OOC: What's the time of day now?

"I can't imagine there's two ships," Sachiko said, running up to join the others. "But there must be SOMETHING at the other X's. We have to check! Wireth, which way from here?!"

She watched the woodsman and waited, practically vibrating with eagerness. If he so much as looked in a direction at this point she'd be off like a shot!

Judging from the position of the sun you estimate it to be about 1 p.m. The group heads to the next closest map "X". They must cross the water twice but with just a little scouting good fording spots are found. After about an hour they are approaching the right position when up ahead they see something in a clearing. A sagging one-story shack sits in this clearing, its walls dingy with age and encrusted with lichen and fungus. A partially collapsed shed sits just to the northeast, while small pouches, twisted knots of feathers, and dangling wind chimes made of bones hang from branches and roof edge alike. Now you estimate it to be around 2 p.m.

CURRENT MAP

Elsbeth

Disappointed that Fastus and Wireth had not found anything by following the tracks, she perked up a bit when the group decided to continue on to ths next location on the map. After getting wet crossing through the water twice, her mood shifted to the grumpy side slightly.

Then they came upon a clearing with a scary looking shack.

"Do you think anyone lives here? Are those bones human, elven or other? It's hard for me to tell from this distance."

She watched the woodsman and waited, practically vibrating with eagerness. If he so much as looked in a direction at this point she'd be off like a shot!
Her friend couldn't help but smile at that: Well, at least SACHIKO was herself!

What the heavens was wrong with HIM then?

Ninja'd. :) Alrighty then.

"Do you think anyone lives here? Are those bones human, elven or other? It's hard for me to tell from this distance."
"Let's get closer then?" sighed Fastus, passing in front of the more timid Elsbeth and doing just that.

I'm bored, he realized. Why am I bored? That makes NO sense! These are the most exiting days of his LIFE! Right up there!

But if Ameiko wasn't there -- here. If she wasn’t EVER going to be here... What's the point?

Ah burn it, he was getting REALLY depressed now!

OOC: Unless someone stops him Fastus will get under the closest windchime and pick up one of the bones to examine it, see if they belong to humanoids or something else?

"Perhaps we ought to announce ourselves first," suggests Suldrel, gaze lingering on the hanging bone wind chimes as he tries to discern an answer to Elsbeth's question. "If anyone does live here, even if they are hostile, maybe a bit of common courtesy might lead to parley instead of more bloodshed. Well, at least immediately."
