Titus spun on his horse and swung his blade, which burst into flames, down on the head of the second of the two orcs that surrounded him. From his vantage on Blaze, he could see more orcs running toward him down the slight rise in the road as it wound around the rocks.

A fall of stones from above alerted Tommi that an orc was climbing on the rocks above him. He looked up, and spotted an orc with a large, primitive-but-deadly-looking longbow. The orc moved away, to increase the advantage of the long-range weapon.

Then, also from around the corner of the road, a rather large orc rode into view on the back of a battle-boar. These creatures were not common, but they were very dangerous. Still, Dandin chuckled to himself as he remembered a humorous song that described this sort of threat as "an orc on a pork".

It wasn't that funny in person, though.

Lionel turned the war-wagon back onto the road and slowed the horses, looking to Dandin for guidance.

OOC: Sorry I'm still taking a bit to get this stuff done, gang. Every time I think I've got time for it, something comes up. I'll get to it soon. This round is done, and Angis has posted for next round.

"Looks like it's bacon for breakfast lads! I'll try and shoot down that porker, the rest of you take care of the ones on foot, especially that archer!"

Dandin pointed up the ridge for emphasis. And then lined up his first shot at the battle boar, hoping to deprive it's rider of it's use. This time his aim was true, though even if it struck it didn't seem to deter the beast much.

Tommi dodges the approaching orc as he digds his fist into his pocket, and withdraws three stones.

"Cummon lucky slingshot..." he says as he blows into his fist before loading onein the unwound sling.

A quick underhanded swing and release misses badly, so he backs up, pressing himself into the cliff wall to stay out of sight of the orc above, but ready to scramble away if needed.

OOC: Shot misses (1d20+6=9), so move to Q19, ready to move another 15' away if he ends up next to me.

As the orc on the battle boar came down the rise in the road, Dandin fired the mounted crossbow. It struck the boar, but barely pushed its way through the creature's barding and thick hide. The orc rider waved an arm to the orc archer above, and the archer took aim at the halfling on the wagon.

The boar scraped its feet in the gravel of the road and began to charge toward Titus as the arrow thumped into Dandin's thigh. Lionel squeaked and ducked low into the wagon's foot-well while the horses stood still as if nothing was going on.

While all this was happening, Tommi slung a stone at the orc near him, which pinged off of one of various weapons on the brute's hip. The orc charged him, and Tommi ran away, keeping low and running along the rock-face. Frustrated, the orc drew a fiendish blade from his belt and flung it at Jynn's boy, but Tommi side-stepped just in time and it struck the rock-wall to his back.

OOC: Angis @KahlessNestor and Titus @tglassy need to go for me to roll the round. (Also Enseth, if I can hope that @Fradak will return...). I haven't done the Orc on the Boar yet, just warning you that he's gonna charge Titus.

Round 2

Angis rushed up to the boar that was threatening Titus. The dwarf dropped his heavy crossbow and drew one of his battleaxes, focusing his magical mark on the beast, and swung with two hands, but the pig sidestepped the blow.

Titus turned in his seat, shifting his Hex to the other Orc and slashing at it, his sword glowing with green flames.

Green Flame Blade Attack: 1D20+5 = [17]+5 = 22

Damage: 1D8+5 = [7]+5 = 12

Hex damage: 1D6 = [5] = 5

(Sorry, forgot about Hex in that damage roll. 17 damage total. And I know Green Flame Blade is basically pointless before lvl 5 against one opponent, but it looks cool. If this kills the Orc, I prefer for his head to go flying and burst into flames as it does. Because reasons.)

The battle-boar charged toward Titus, and Angis rushed forward to receive it, lest his friend be overwhelmed. He brought up his axe, but the boar's tusks raked into him, lifting him off his feet and throwing him back. The orc on its back roared in pleasure at watching the dwarf hurled through the air.

Nearby, Titus spun his horse and hacked the head from the body of one of the orcs that surrounded him, as two more ran up to join them. The orc's head hurled through the air, with its greasy topknot aflame, and it rolled across the ground as the body fell. The next orc up slammed a large axe into Titus' shield as the young nobleman continued to turn his horse in a tight circle. Then, yet another orc ran up, and this one mashed Titus' leg with an axe-blade, right next to his other axe-wound.

OOC: Gotta run. I will be back soon to post the round-roller.
