Or would it be safer to go hands and knees? Hrgach will tie the rope from his waist to her. I'm just concerned we won't get the pole back. But he'll hand it over if she wants it.

Asha accepts the rope from Hrgach and ties it around her waist. She carefully climbs over the low wall and positions her feet as much to the center of the bridge as possible. Once steady she turns towards where Hrgach was standing.

"The pole might be helpful. I can feel in front of me as I walk."

Asha waits until she has the pole then carefully feels I front of her as she works her way slowly across the span.

GM: Assuming she gets the pole

Asha tentatively probes around in front of her with the pole the pathway would appear to only be 2ft wide and defiantly poorly constructed crossing would be difficult. After Asha takes a couple of steps there is a definite click sound followed by a series of swishes further the walkway shakes gently as something scrapes across its stone surface before a second swish is heard followed by further scraping. Something is swinging backwards and forwards across the path infront.

GM: Now the easy way across this is via dex saves at disadvantage due to darkness and the narrow walkway your looking at a DC 13. Alternatively you could come up with something creative.

“Well now, that is certainly interesting,” Hrgach murmured, hearing the click and the swishes. “You alright?” he called to Asha. “Can you maybe use the pole to jam whatever is swinging, stop the momentum?”

"I'm fine, just another damn trap." At the next comment she suppress a sigh. "I'll try but it's pitch black and it sounds like there are more than one."

Asha then listens trying to pinpoint where the swinging whatever are attached at the ceiling.

OOC: I'll roll a perception check tomorrow. My sheet is saved on my work PC.

Asha feels around with the pole looking for the pendulum swing what ever is out there in the darkness, nearly losing her balance a few times she eventually finds a small hole that the pole fits into snugly. Bracing her feet Asha twists the pole and there is a click, repeating the process until the blades stop Asha eventually steps out of the darkness and before her is a solid wooden door.

Asha hears the click and smiles. She she blinks at the light as she steps out of the darkness. She stares at the door.

"Tap has been disabled. You guys can make it throu now. I'm on the other side. I'll untie the rope and you can pull it back to tie t the next person who comes across."
