The goods within the sarcophagus show no signs of wear or age and Balin did have a room full off finely crafted weapons and a magical hand xbow. It would stand to reason the gear buried would be magical.

Hrgach grabbed the daggers out of the sarcophagus. “He won’t be using them,” he justified. “That armor, either.” He pulled that out, as well, though it likely wouldn’t fit him. They could always sell it. He poked around at the body, looking for coin or anything else of value before hiding the daggers and armor away in his pack.

“Let’s go.” He turned back to the exit.
