Their was a question as to the syntax, the halfling didn't particularly seem the generous type... the young boy piped up, "Is that each person who helps to kill the lycan, or for each lycanthrope killed, or is it for each person for each lycanthrope? Whichever way, it was still a lot of gold to Ben, but he wanted the terms clear before he risked life and limb. Though apparently he had been willing to do it for free... best to keep that to himself, it was more an act of naivety than an act of altruism.

Ben is startled by the response... he stutters for a moment before blurting out his train of thought, "well... erm... um... lycanthropes are people that can change into animals or something like that... and animals, well they hunt in packs... so maybe lycanthropes also hunt in packs... so maybe there might be more than one... but I didn't know if there would be more than one and thought you might have thought there was more than one and would pay us 100gp for each lycanthrope we killed."
