Details, details he had overlooked, his mind began racing. Why, why would there be so much silver? why would he need heavy gloves? Silver isn't a defense unless you have something that is weak against it. The studs in the door aren't designed merely for decoration, it is a defense of some sort. Suddenly it a possibility began to form, a terrifying possibility should there be any truth to it.

"Now that you mention it... a silver fence the silver studs, they would also make sense if the Lord is a lycanthrope trying to keep himself from harming people... and if Fred here is the only person normally trapped inside with him, he may have turned him at some point."

He looked to the group hoping they would come up with some alternative possibility, to come up with some way to prove one way or the other whether what he spoke was the truth, Balin seemed the most knowledgeable on the matter, "Balin, is there anyway to prove one way or the other if this speculation holds any truth? What is it that you were about to say?"

"Well the simplest way to check for lycanthropy would be to well jab them with something made of silver." Balin completely ignores the mention of the earlier conversation.

After hearing the speculation, Ana takes a nail and wonders back over to Fred. "Excuse me, how long has the Lord been away?" she asks.

OOC: I'm guessing Fred returned to his post "as fast as possible" once showing us the door.

Ana doesn't feel Fred is lying about the time William left.

Ana openly displays the silver nail, waving it around nonchalantly while continuing to talk to Fred. She is paying close attention to see if Fred seems worried about the nail. "Must be boring standing out here guarding an empty house." She steps up closer to Fred, the nail swooping close to any exposed areas of skin that aren't on his face. (who wouldn't dodge a nail headed for their face?) "Do you work alone? All day with no breaks?"
