Kerzoth/Ivanhoe
Evening
Round 0
Hrgach ambled out, eying the horses. His people didn’t use the beasts much. Wolves and worgs were more their kind of animals. But he recognized the good breed. He smirked at the human woman’s whining about traveling in the dark. The dark was just fine to him.
Hrgach took the guard position on the seat, resting his crossbow across his lap, keeping an eye out. He watched the debacle with the torches warily. That wind that kicked up seemed odd. And then the scream echoed through the woods and the horses started, causing the wagon to jolt, losing a few crates out the back end.
Dex save: 1D20 = [3] = 3
Hrgach lost his seat, falling from the wagon and rolling with it, coming up with his crossbow ready even as his shoulder throbbed a bit. He eyed the darkness around them.
Perception check disadvantage due to darkness: 2D20.LOW(1)+2 = [4, 14]+2 = 6
“Everyone all right?” Hrgach called to the others. “Graan, get that mess cleaned up and loaded again,” he told the orc. He didn’t like the sound of that scream, close by.
