[IC] The Odd Job

OOC: just about to comment on the SA

Galdar brings his weapons round in arc his dagger glances harmlessly off the kobolds shield, however his sword strikes a blow against the creatures shield arm.

Graan steps forward towards the center of the room and prepares him self for combat by beating his chest repeatedly.

The maggots at Hrgach's feet are finally free from the wreckage of the pot and a working their way up his body squirming and biting as they go. One of the grubs manages to find a patch of skin and gnaw its way through burrowing under his skin, the body and tail of the grub is still squirming its way into the hobgoblins skin squirming trying to get deeper.

The one renaming kobold stood near Ana drops it's sling and once again takes up a cowering position.

OOC: Asha's up. Hrgach and Galdar make me a survival or nature check to figure out the grubs

Round 2

Hrgach turned to look as the other door opened and a kobold with a candle on his head entered. The small vermin had a pot in his hand, which he proceeded to throw toward Hrgach, where it shattered on the stone floor.

Hrgach kicked at the grubs, but couldn’t worry much about them with two armored kobolds in his face, and Galdar looking very wounded. The hobgoblin swung again at the armored kobold.

Hrgach had seen the grubs before they often frequented the field after a battle had been fought but before the dead where collected, causing collection to be an issue.once the grub begins to bury its way into a target the only way to get it out is to burn the wound quickly or the grubs will keep burrowing until they reach their victims heart.

OOC: Fire needs to be applied to the wound before the end of Hrgach's turn or where looking at surgical removal. The act of applying fire will deal 1point of fire damage. I'll assume with this knew knowledge you will be changing your action.

[sblock=OOC]Guess I’m changing my action[/sblock]

Hrgach turned to look as the other door opened and a kobold with a candle on his head entered. The small vermin had a pot in his hand, which he proceeded to throw toward Hrgach, where it shattered on the stone floor.

Hrgach kicked at the grubs. Damn it! Rot grubs! He felt the pinch of a bite and cursed. Backing away from the kobolds, he rushed over to the fire and grabbed up a piece of wood, shoving the burning end into his skin where he could feel the grub burrowing.

Hrgach makes a careful retreat using his weapon to prevent anyone following.
The ashes of the fire are still glowing as the hobgoblin grabs one of the logs orange embers are churned into the air. There is a satisfying popping sound as the grub bursts under the heat from the wood.

The kobold is still rolling around the floor laughing.
OOC: Hrgach is currently over by the fire. Ana is in the left room with a cowering Kobold and a couple of corpses. Galdar is in the room on the right in combat with 2 armoured kobolds along with Asha who is in the corner on the outskirts of the fray. Graan is stood in the center of the room raging. Aloy is on the back wall near the fire. Speaking of the old chap its his action.

Asha begins to chant and gesture with her rod. The air in front of her begins to hum as a sphere of crackling energy forms at the tip and streaks towards the armored creature fighting Galdar. Asha backs away from the fighting trying to keep her three companions between her and the kobolds.

Ana eyes the remaining cowardly kobold wildly. "Fool me once," she starts to sing-song. "Shame on you and death."
She attacks the kobold with her sword, two-handed.

OOC: Attack: [roll0]
Damage: [roll1]
If the creature dies, she then moves back into the room and goes after the one tossing fire bombs since he is probably closest.

The sphere of energy strikes the kobold which shrieks a high pitched squeel as the electricity arks around the creature before before she darts round the back if Galdar and just outside the door way.

Ana finishes the cowering creature without much effort before she heads off in search of other prey.

The two kobolds once again begin there practiced dance of steel round the hapless Minotaur they have managed to single him out, in their element sword blows rain down upon Galdar. The first shortsword attack connects catching a glancing blow across the Minotaurs shoulder as Galdar is reeling a second sword blow rains down this time catching Galdar across the chest. A large wound is left as Galdar's body crumples and hits the floor, his chest heaving under the strain.

The second kobold lets out a fearsome cry as the mighty beast is felled and he advances upon Asha seeing her as easy prey. Lashing out at her twice with his blade only one blow manages to connect catching a glancing blow across her cheek.

Zeke quickly meanders into combat shocking the injured kobold who drops to one knee briefly before staggering back to his feet, the kobolds eyes glaze over he is not long for this world.

Seeing Galdar fall Graan Hurtles towards the kobold attacking Asha and swings his mighty axe at his foe. Scoring a direct hit on the kobolds neck blood erupts from the gash as he steps over the kobolds corpse as it hits the deck he swings his axe again sending the swarm of grubs scattering.

OOC: sorry Galdar but that's 10points of dmg buddy your taking a nap. Roll me a d100 for your injury. Asha takes 2points of damage.
That leaves Hrgach by the fire, Asha in combat with a shielded kobold, Ana in the center of the room advancing upon the candle hat kobold(shell arrive next turn) Galdar is down. Graan scores a lucky crit and is now between Asha and the remaining shield kobold after killing the grubs.
Back to Asha.
