[IC] The Odd Job

"Maybe we should bust the door down to give the monster an easier time," Ana deadpanned. "A barn certainly feel more welcoming." Ana scans the outskirts of the one-horse town for a suitable barn.

EDIT: There's a joke here about missing the broadside of barn, isn't there?

On the opposite edge of town there appears to be a building that would fit description of a barn a simple shelter with a roof and 3walls.
"Break my door down will ya beasti, be the last thing you do"

Asha watches the proceedings at the door with interest. Whatever was terrorizing this town had the locals jumping at shadows. She watches Galdar pass the test and then the other balk. She sighed in relief. She would not subject herself to the test and risk being thought a monster. She turns and follows Ana towards the barn. Stepping through the door with Ana she steps back at the blood.

"Let's hope that isn't human blood."

Asha scans the barn looking for the source of the blood.

“Human, trickery ain’t my style,” Hrgach said. “If I wanted to kill you, I would just kick down your damn door and shove my blade through your gut. Or maybe…” He pulled out his own crossbow and stuck it up to the slit in the door.

With disgust, Hrgach turned and followed Ana toward the barn across town. However, it appeared a less than savory place to spend the night, the hay covered in blood.

“Wonderful,” he muttered, starting to shove the hay aside. “We best post watch.” He looked to see if there were any tracks to indicate anything about the blood.

"I am certain you could try but trust me you would fail"

Hrgach can make out some drag marks leading away with the trail of the blood they look to be a couple of days old.

Ana watches Hrgack try to track what appears to be a body dragged into the woods. She steps away from the group into the woods in the opposite direction and whispers, "Speak quietly. Are you there foot? If you are there I need that shelter you spoke of."

Once the others have wandered off to the barn, Galdar addresses the innkeeper, "I have passed your test, May I come in out of the cold and get a place to sleep?"
