D&D 5E (IC) Vault of the Dracolich (River Gang)

OOC: Has anyone given her any healing? Otherwise I'm going to assume she's at 1 HP.

Zalena sighed, "Well, if you're determined. I don't suppose I could interest you in a parlay with Silakul? He's not what I would call a reasonable man, but he's not above talking if it suits his interests. Perhaps they could offer you something. I could put in a good word, not that I think highly of you, or anything."

OOC: I asked for it, but I think our one healer passed on the opportunity to instead check her out.

Mord quirks an eyebrow at the suggestion but shrugs and reaches for his sending stone. As he does he starts to reply. "I doubt it, but anything to hel..."

"You have done very well my friends! You are at the Inner Vault! If you place the correct Idol in it's proper place, you will unlock the vault and be very close to retrieving the Diamond Staff! Proceed with all haste, if you please! There is not a moment to be lost! When you have the staff, contact me again and I will prepare a teleportation to retrieve you!"

"Nevermind, it seems they have succeeded."

To the stone he speaks. "We have captured a mage by the name of Zelena who claims we might be able to 'negotiate' with Silakul. But it seems you have succeeded. Did you find that last statue then?"

OOC: No, I don't think so. This was posted in the Dispensables thread, and I forgot to paste it in here:
Imani? Are you there? We just managed to escape... but Sesto could not finish his sentence before a jolt of pain curses through his body. Argh, there are traps and wards everywhere, Sesto screams into the sending stone. And EVERYONE just HAVE to open every door they see!!! By Lathander, leave the doors closed for just a second! Sesto tries to compose himself and speak with a calm voice. Imani, we have lost Bobranthus. He went down like a true hero, saving us all. And now, it looks like both Drako and Terrus has fallen to the warded door. I am not sure about Loreen. Sesto, takes a breath and looks around. We are in a room or vault, just passed Silakul's chamber. There is a pile of coins high up on a ledge, there is a table near a door and and empty alcove near another door. Maybe the last idol is hidden in the treasure?
To which Inami answered as Mord related to above.

A glimmer of hope passed through the River Gang, just as it had in Imani a moment earlier, before it was confirmed that one last Idol was still to be found, and that the Dispensables were in no shape to find it. It was now up to the River Gang to decide if they would press on and go get it, or rest and begin the search in the evening.

OOC: You could take a Long or Short Rest here (or no rest). It is still only late in the morning, so while you are fatigued from fighting, you won't need much in the way of sleep. It's up to you.

OOC: A short rest at the most, I think. The sisters haven't used much of their power, I don't think, and they aren't that hurt. They could probably go without resting at all. I'll look through and see how many power points they've spent.

OOC: Mord would like a short rest, plus he can spend some additional time IDing magical items if it helps. (Would like to take a crack at the even relics as well. He can use Comp. Lang and Identify as rituals now.)

The badly wounded Kurzon smiles at the suggestion of a rest, "Just need a chance to bind my wounds and catch my breath." he growls.

[sblock=rolls]

Assuming a short rest he will spend his HD to recover.

He is currently on 7 HP

Imani's voice comes through the sending stone, calm and calculating, now that he knows tgat victory is within sight, but many obstacles are still in your path. "We must proceed both boldly and cautiously. If you have defeated Silakul, you have scored a great victory today. The cult will be forced to reorganize, which may result in some in-fighting. You may have time for some well-deserved rest. Perhaps, if you know of a good place, you can gather together and compare notes. Share a meal, and work out how best to proceed."
