The warden steps back and starts to cast a spell. Silhouette completes a spell and a glob of acid strikes the warden. However he is still able to complete his spell and a sphere of flame appears next to Grumblejack, burning the ogre as he screams in pain.

Grumblejack side steps the sphere of flame and hits the guard with a smash attack (5 damage).

Armides Diat, human Inquisitor of Asmodeus

Armides again remains where he is standing though he changes targets from the guard (believing with Asseni, Vordahl, and Grumblejack going after the guard it won't be long before he goes down) to the Warden whose fire spell has Armides a bit worried. Armides deftly draws an arrow, loads it, and fires. He smiles as he sees the shaft fly true towards his target; only magic could deflect his arrow now...

As the arrow sinks deep into the warden's abdomen he briefly turns to look at Armides with a look of horror before collapsing to the floor, blood oozing from the wound.

Guard3 moves up to Grumblejack allowing the ogre a chance to attack. Unfortunately he misjudges the distance and his swing id too short. The guard swings and even in his sickened condition is able to connect. But lucky for the ogre the swing is weakened by the man’s condition (2 damage).

Next up: Piston Honda and then Shayuri.

Vordahl is struck by solid blow. He steps out and looks at the guard, filled with fury, swinging hard and blindly missing.

An answering horn blast can be heard from somewhere. It is hard to pinpoint the location. It is three quick blasts followed by two slightly longer blasts.

Guard2 swings at Asseni connecting for 5 damage.

Asseni presents his holy symbol and channels evil. This washes over the former prisoners with a healing effect (heal 4 damage). It also washes over the guards with a nauseating effect. It appears that only the guard attacking Grumblejack is effected this time.

Silhouette steps out of the door and peeks around Grumblejack to fire off another black blob of caustic magic at the guard facing Vordahl and Asseni...if she could free them up, the fight would be all but over. The guard is hit by the glob of acid burning him.

The warden's ball of flame continues to burn but without a director it stays where it is.

Grumblejack swings at the guard that hit him with a smash attack but misses.

Armides draws and fires a third time hoping his luck is as good as the previous shot. No such good luck, however, as his arrow careens off the stone wall and down the hall. He hears the alarm and curses. He'd hoped the walls would've blocked it but it appears their luck was poor all around just now.
