Divine/arcane magic distinction. I want one big juicy spell list. And I want what makes casters different to be their "method" and their source of power.
 

I wouldn't cut any of them, but since you asked "If I had to", I answered Attacks of Opportunity. Though I like them, I like everything else you listed better.
 


Oh, shoot, I wish Prestige Classes had been listed. 'cause I would have picked that. There's nothing a prestige class can do that some well-crafted feats and some multiclassing can't. Nothing in 3.x is worse, to me, than a player who has to plan his character out several levels ahead of time so he can make the prereqs for some PrC.
 


Air. What a poorly considered element. Why is it associated with lightning instead of sonic?! That's just not trying.

For some players, I think it can actually help them get into character and have goals. In addition, if the player knows what PrC they want at level 1, the DM has 4 or 5 levels to integrate the PrC into the campaign and setting. When the character finally gets level 1 in that PrC, it is an accomplishment not just for the player, but the whole group.
