... You probably got an e-mail yesterday saying that the 3.5 books would be delayed till July 31, as I did, and you may have cancelled your order, as I did.

Today I got another e-mail telling me, my Monster Manual has shipped!

So, if you have not got an order cancelation e-mail from them, your order is probablly being processed by the one Wal Mart employee, sorry associate, who actually knows what he is doing.

So, a warning to those who cancelled and placed an order elsewhere, you may be buying an extra set of the books with that second order.

*cough* got my cancel confirmation from walmart.com and ordered from TalonComics yet am still having ALL 3 books shipped to arrive the 14th. Maybe i'll help some poor slug who wants the books soon heh.

Right now that depends on if Wal-Mart is truly shipping orders out. If they are and it is confirmed I'm basically considering driving down to my distributor the day they received the books and driving back with my order.

If WotC can't even enforce a street date with Wal-Mart then they have no choice to not enforce it with anyone else.

Does it sound like I take this personally? Yes, you're damn right I do. I find it to be total BS that a company that relies heavily on gamers, game stores and distributors to promote their material to give 2/3rds of them the proverbial "finger" and allow Wal-Mart to sell whenever they want to. Yeah, I take this *very* personally and so should every gaming retailer and distributor.

Does anyone know if they are really shiping or not? USPS claims it got the shipping order on the 11th a day after I got the release dealy email from Wal-Mart. What is the offical WotC release date any way?
