I just needed to share this. I really feel like shouting at the top of my lungs, and singing with everything in my soul. It's a really great feeling, and I wish I felt it more often. It kind of decended on me tonight, sort of a zen moment I guess. Life just seems right. Not perfect, not comfortable... just right. Honestly, it really makes me want to cry. Happy cry, not sad cry.



Oh, and apparently the board barfing actually fixed the smiley drop-down, so if you read this MM then take note.

Awesome for you! I dislike how people tend to talk about the "I'm sad" things more then the "I'm ridiculously happy" things. I like to know even if my life is at a low point that there are people at high points.... kind of like when a happy person smiles, it makes me slightly happier

Awesome for you! I dislike how people tend to talk about the "I'm sad" things more then the "I'm ridiculously happy" things.

Well, there's two things -

1) Happiness is not the standard state of being for humanity. People talk about being sad and down more probably because, on the whole, people are more sad than happy. It is just part fo the human condition.

2) It is when we are sad that we feel a need to vent and seek support. A happy person does not generally need much emotional support, and so won't seek out the company of others merely to proclaim their happiness.

So, it may not be all that much fun, but it's probably not gonna change any time soon.
