Re: Oh yeah, you should definately check em' out

Hi guys! :)

IIRC, the justification for that character that it (illithids are sexless, thus genderless) was given all the lore and power of his whole race when all illithids from Toril were exterminated, save him. So, that character is a whole race inside one body.

Ah...right...the old 'whole race inside one body ploy!' :D

Reminds me of a character in 'The Mighty Thor' called Mangog (comprised of the power of a billion billion beings).

...or at least that is the first place I saw that idea used; you could also use the Unimind as a more pertinent 'psionic' example.

Doesn't Anabstercorian ever get lonely!? ;)

Well its only the .pdf version that is being divided up. I still plan for the print version to contain all the relevant sections in one book!

Well, don't I feel silly, I thought you were referring to both versions. :) Are you still planning on trimming the sample pantheon from the print version, though?

Hi Impeesa mate! :)

No.

I think the .pdf versions will benefit from the division but the hardcopy would be much better suited all inclusive.

I have a number of surprises that end. But I always get into trouble speculating on stuff before its finished so I'll keep my mouth shut for now. ;)

Hello again, and by the way, who were the winners of your pantheon poll ? I'm just wondering on which one are likely to be included.

Just a sec...

Hey mate! :)

If you can find a link to one of the old Gencon Epic Level Threads from 18 months ago they had the 'official' wealth tables going up to (at least) 35th-level as I recall.

From what I can remember the level 35 character they described had over 8 million in wealth. So your prediction is not the same as the epic rules.

But I fully agree that the progression of that table makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

For the Immortals Handbook (almost typed the Worship Points System there! ;) ) I suggest the following for the sake of brevity:

Level x Level x Level x 100

eg. 20 x 20 x 20 x 100 = 800,000

So Odin would have 409.6 million gp. ;)

Howdy pardner!

Actually, if you want your formula to at least match the DMG at Level 20, make it Level^3*95, that is Level x Level x Level x 95. Then a Level 20 character still has 760,000. Perfect!

Other than that, as for the release of the book, I'm BEGGING that you make it simple. Actually, there is a VERY good system that would work that you should check out. The system Oliver Copp uses to sell his program "TNM", a wrestling simulator, should also work for your book. Check it out.

Look good?

I've got an agent to represent me for publishing my fantasy novel, and I'm very happy, and I hope you find wealth and success as well, UK. :)

It sort of messes up most of the others though! ;)

The reason I choose Level^3*100 is because I think most people could probably do it in their head if need be.

However this is one of a few areas that will need to be reviewed pending when I get hold of Deities & Demigods.

That has been my intention all along.

A little of either certainly wouldn't hurt! ;)

As for that web site for TNM, what I meant was their system for ordering. They have an interesting system for ordering their product using telephone billing (which pretty much everyone can do without a problem), and I thought that you could use such a system for selling your product if need be.

I know many have tried thinking of possible ways to go about this, and as far as online ordering goes, that is the best I've seen.

Hello U_K!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted but I have been reading the WPS’s threads every day. A small part of me was disappointed when you announced another delay (I’ve only been drooling over the thought of your book for almost a year now!!), but I understand that it is the best thing to do.

BTW, I’ve got the latest issue of Dragon here and Tharizdun was robbed!!! I don’t know if you have read it yet but I’m sure you will agree with me since we are both huge fans of the Gord the Rouge novels.

Best of luck to you!!
