[sblock=Reveille] A couple of questions.

What is the scale of the map, is the corridor 5ft. or 10ft. wide? How many 5ft. squares between us and the skeleton, etc?

Did we get a surprise round, or did we go straight into initiative? Arv's actions were based on a surprise round, otherwise he takes another shot at the skeleton with Rapid Shot.[/sblock]

Sorry about the details, I'm still learning how to be a pbp DM. ;)

The hallway corridor is 10 feet wide. From the end of the staiwell to the big skeleton is 15 feet. Yes, yhe party does get a surprise round. Everyone gets an action, then the big skeleton acts.

Gerak holds out the holy symbol hanging from his neck, after stepping out a few paces to face the big skeleton, when Arv gives the signal. The dwarf says menacingly "Stones crush an' bury ye, skeleton!" as the silver symbol shines momentarily. Then he says "Surround 'im! No escape!"

Initiative versus big skeleton (1d20-1=7)

Turning check and turning damage for Turn Undead (1d20+3=21, 2d6+6=13)

(that result will turn up to 13 HD of undead, of individual HD 8 or less; destroys undead of 2 HD or less; 1 of 4 daily uses expended)

Arv manages to wound the skeleton, but just barely. Flints charge attack seriously knock it down a notch, but it is still standing. The skeleton roars in pain. It notices Geraks turning attempt and laughs. "Your power isn't strong enough to affect me yet, Cleric."

OOC: Intiative rolls please.
