"What kind of dwarf would rather run than fight?!" Corsa teases as she slips past Flint to help Vin.

Flint grunts.

"Watch it, lass! We might be needin' a sacrifice to these plant thingies; you know, to save the rest of us," the dwarf replies sarcastically. Stepping back, Flint lightly prods Corsa as if trying to push her further into the bushes before giving her a big smile.

"Come on, lads. These plants have given up their fight. Let's continue."

OOC: Move to H4; no action.

As the blights fall back, Vin fires a firebolt into one of them and it screams in pain, as Giana burns the farthest blight into the ground.

Loosh brings down more flames onto the remaining visible blight.

GM:
Okay I’m going to call this one. B4 and B3 are dead and B2 has turned back into vines.
It’s just after 2am of Day 5, Week 1 and you are around an hour hike from the body.

After a hike of around 45 minutes and around 15 minutes journey from the injured ranger the party comes across a small sign that says, “Welcome to Gristledown.”

There are burnt remains of several huts and a small shed along with two charred walls of what was the longhouse. Tacked to the walls of the longhouse are the bloody, flayed skins of a half-dozen former residents
along with a hand written sign.

Bounty!

Phaendar has not been secured to our glorious general’s satisfaction, and in her name I now offer a bounty of 25 pieces of gold to any member of the Ironfang Legion who returns reliable information regarding the location of the fugitive human-likes who fled Phaendar. The payment is doubled if you instead return their heads. Live captives may be claimed as slaves.

All rewards are doubled for the impudent ringleaders of this band!

Return all information or heads to my cur of a son, Sergeant Scarvinious.

Lal looks around sadly. "One of the thing about being a stranger is that you are never sure if you are on the right side - are your friends and allies the good one, or just the people you happen to have met first? ... I have no such doubts any more."

"How recent was this? Could there still be some of those savages around? There may be survivors, or supplies?"

Vin smiled, "Yes there could, probably the same bunch that killed the rangers. we should move on and find this wounded man, afterwards I can send fluffy up for a look."
