D&D 5E Ironfang Invasion (IC)

"Looks like our corpse," Flint says dryly, peering down at the unmoving body.

Turning to Loosh, the dwarf continues, "I'm not much for acrobatics meself, but I'm guessin' some of you be lightfooted enough?"

With a wink, Flint says to Corsa, "Perhaps you'll be safe from bee stings down there, lass."

"Well, when you put it like that..." Corsa laughs and heads down the rope.

She puts one hand on a hilt as she approaches the ranger. Crouching next to him, she puts her other hand on his shoulder and shakes it a bit. "Still in there, sailor?" She tries to get a look at his face.

"Whoa, hold on then, don't try to move," Corsa says, surprised this guy is actually still kicking. "We'll get you patched up."

"Can any of you help him?" she says up to her companions. "Afraid this isn't my forte."

"Careful," Flint warns while he stays where he is. Just as the dwarf opens his mouth to warn of zombies, Loosh beats him to it.

OOC: Was typing this when Fitz posted the above. Ninja'd! :D

I want to see if the guy is alive or undead. From a distance. Yeah. :)

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

OOC: Going to use Divine Sense. This is use 2 of 3 for the week.

"If someone can hold the rope I can go down to"

Harb stops when he hears someone mention the Zombies, raising his hand to the symbol of Sarenrae on his chest, closing his eyes, when he opens them they glow slightly. Looking around the area with a slightly distant look...

The ranger’s eyes open and a little more color appears on his face as Giana’s words find his ears. “Careful,” he says quietly to Corsa as she approaches, “there was a large band of hobgoblin’s and a nasty bugbear that came through here, not long ag. . . .”

The ranger paused for a moment, “Actually I have no idea how long I’ve been here. Have you been to Gristledown? Did they spare anyone?”

GM:
The ranger is alive, and not a zombie. Actually a half-elf male, around 30, and while I wouldn’t say Harb has heavenly music ringing in his ears he senses the ranger is on the good side of the spectrum. Currently he is at level 5 for exhaustion with the following effects.
The character has disadvantage on all checks and saving throws. The character’s speed and maximum hit points are reduced to half. The character cannot attack or cast spells.

"Five or six hours, at least. That's how long ago Vin's owl spotted you, anyway," she says, nodding toward Vin. "No idea how long you've actually been here. And I'm sorry, but if you had friends in Gristledown, they didn't make it."

She takes off her pack and offers him rations and her waterskin. "You want those arrows out? I'm no proper healer like Loosh or Giana up there, but I've tied off my share of wounds after a fight."
