Is a Crossover TV series or Movie between DCU & Star Trek possible now that Paramount & WBD are merging.

Star Trek + Green Lanterns would almost make sense. The Lanterns have space travel so a mashup doesn't really violate too many concepts from either genre. A Green Lantern could be a valuable addition to an ST exploration ship. Plus Lanterns are not invulnerable and might avoid becoming the always used solution to problems. An exploration ST captain would NOT want to have to explain why her Lantern was killed while the ship was exploring Xena Cignus II.

I just want to focus on the possibility we could get the kind of TV/Movie cross over between DCU & Star Trek that previously had only occurred in comics.

In theory, I suppose it is possible.

In practice, I cannot currently think of a reason why we would want this. Even if we don't worry about the impact on "canon" of either property, it isn't at all clear to me that the storytelling opportunities that would open up are worth using the limited options for TV/Movie presentation. I think leaving it in the comics is a better bet.

We have not seen an MCU/Star Wars crossover with Disney despite 13+ years, so I don't expect a DCU/Star Trek one. I think both companies will know it would be a Bad Idea.
I would not put that level of Bad ideas past either Paramount or especially WB, at this point

If WB had gone to Netflix we could have had a Batman Bridgeton crossover, which would have been awesome!
I'm picturing the copy of Lady Whistledown writing about the escapades of the new fabulously wealthy and eligible bachelor to arrive to the ton named Bruce AND about the escapades of the new masked vigiliante hinting the streets at night, and I'm hearing them in my head as spoken by Dame Julie Andrews, and I gotta say, I don't hate it

Look until Donald Duck joins the Avengers and a CGI Luke Skywalker returns swinging Excalibur I won’t be happy.

We are getting closer…

“Ladies… gentlemen… you have eaten well. You have eaten of Bridgerton’s youth, its beauty. Your feast is nearly over. From tonight… none of you are safe.”

(Pause)

“You know Bridgerton isn’t a place, don’t you?”
