While 4e has certainly helped a ton in bumping it up, it isn't my favourite. That distinction for me falls to Promethean: The Created by White Wolf.

Changeling: The Lost falls second, and the rest are jumbled mess depending upon my mood; 4th Edition D&D, Cthulhutech, Vampire (Masquerade and Requiem). To name the major ones.

Nope. 4E GURPS for me, with 4E D&D and nWoD (face it, it's all one game) below, then probably WHFRP or something.

I voted no, based on the current version. But I would have voted yes if I were to include D&D over it's entire span of years and editions. The years of enjoyment I got out of OD&D and AD&D have to count for something.

This for me, where current version(s) == 3x or 4x.

My favorite RPG is what I'm playing at the time
Right now, D&D isn't my favorite and hasn't been for some months. Mutants and Masterminds usually edges it out because on the whole I like superheroes more than I do fantasy. As a rules system, I'm going to give Savage Worlds another long try, and possibly Fate 3.0.
