what's the range on acid splash?

How high can a tarrasque reach with a jump?

Acid Splash 60 feet.
Tarrasque is 50 feet tall and can jump 3+Strength mod feet up with a 10 foot run. There are no modifications for this based on size the way that lifting does. With your arms up, you can reach 1 1/2 times your height. So the Tarrasque could reach 88 feet on a jump. The flying wizard could sit at an altitude of 110 feet and be in range of Acid Splash.

Thrown attacks go on Strength.

True, but an improvised thrown weapon has a range of 20 / 60.

Even equating it to a Storm Giant rock, it would do 4D12 + 10 points of damage at 60/240 and be +10 to hit (not proficient, as per the improvised weapon rule). And presumably two ranged attacks per round (the same as claw attacks) plus any legendary ranged attacks via claw.

And why would the Tarrasque have an improvised weapon attack? Do you also let Gelatinous Cubes throw rocks?

If its 60ft the tarrasque just does a little jump and eats him.

No, because it can't jump 60 feet high.

This is one thing I have been interested in. Since the multiattack calls out specific attacks, I am not sure throwing a rock would fit in with that. Actions like shove specifically say they replace one melee attack in a multiattack, but there really doesn't seem to be something like that for improvised range attacks (or other attacks that are not mentioned in the multiattack).

In this case, I think the Tarrasque might need to choose between its normal multiattack combo and 1 rock attack.
