[SBLOCK=OOC]Well, that's terrifying. I want to make sure that I'm reading this right. We've got one magic goblin that seems to have a mirror image like effect and three other goblins (all of which are enlarged) confronting the ranged group, but the horde that was about to attack us is delayed so Isaac, Al, and Mina will be able to move towards us? I already thought this was going to be a nasty fight before crimson McMagic pants showed up. Still, if the magic goblin is throwing around that much magic, he's the chief danger, right? He's casting two spells per round so I'm going to focus my fire on him and hope to either get lucky or wear down his defenses.[/SBLOCK]
Daedarai’s feet froze as the tiny goblin grew before his eyes. The goblin’s muscles inflated as its limbs grotesquely stretched. Its teeth seemed to grow faster than its jaw could keep up as a guttural bark echoed from its throat growing deeper as the transformation washed over it. In a moment, the massive goblin towered over the elf and swiftly closed in on him. In the chaos of the moment, he saw streaks of light cast out from the repeating red goblin. “Magic!” his thoughts flashed, “No one mentioned these blighters could cast magic!”
The towering goblin let loose a deep growl that grew into a roar that brought his attention back to the danger in front of him as the beast raised its bladed fists over its head and brought them crashing down towards him. Instinct met a rush of adrenaline as Daedarai narrowly dodged the hulk’s blow so closely that he could hear the rush of wind as it passed him. Taking advantage of the goblin’s mighty blow, he dropped into a crouch before springing towards the goblin pushing his shoulder into the creature’s exposed side to throw it off balance as he pounced quickly away and began to move to line up his shot on the goblin shaman.
“I need to get some magic,” he muttered as he tried to figure out which image was real and fired.
[SBLOCK=Game Rolls]Bonus action to disengage (that’s the shove), move back ten feet and fire on the goblin mage.
Attack Roll on Magic Goblin: 1D20+5 = [13]+5 = 18
Damage Roll if hits through Mirror Image: 1D6+3 = [3]+3 = 6
Roll to see if it strikes a duplicate or McMagic himself - to save DM time, feel free to discard: 1D20 = [19] = 19
Well, if you use that roll, that’s one less illusion. I’ll get you next time, McMagic![/SBLOCK]
