D&D 5E It doesn't look like the revised ranger will be in XGtE

I actually like the pace that they're going with this stuff. People talk about a "sweet spot" in the game (usually levels 5-10), but I think there's also a sweet spot to an edition, and it's the time (now) before all the bloat becomes overwhelming. It's like a honeymoon. The longer they can stretch it out, the better.

Its good for YOU, but not really for others, especially if they are Arfificers fans or Psionics fans ect...,

Agree completely.

I like how they're doing that for the most part. Getting that content out in free playtest articles, and then putting them on the Guild for expansion. And the potential of putting them in AL.
I just wish they'd actually update that content...

Except that they keep saving shadow magic rules until about 8 weeks before announcing the next edition. :-/

I generally like the pace but with so much dissatisfaction with the ranger, I would have preferred them to move a bit faster with some simple patches for the class. The new playtest version lurched a bit too far in the other direction, or at least had too much front loading to benefit other classes rather than the ranger.
