Item saving throws?

As per Monster Manual V 3.5E about the Ryklar

Contaminate (Su)
A rylkar harridan exudes toxins that
contaminate the environment around it. Food or drink
brought within 20 feet of a harridan becomes foul and
poisonous (Fort DC 22, 1d6 Con/1d6 Con) to any but
rylkars. Potions in the area must succeed a DC 22
Fortitude save or become similarly poisonous. The save
DC is Constitution-based.
This contamination spreads away from a rylkar
harridan’s lair. Once a rylkar harridan remains in a
cavern or dungeon room up to 80 feet on a side, or
similar chamber, for one full week, that entire room is
contaminated as above. The contamination spreads
20 feet from that room each day the rylkar harridan
remains present. A
remove curse spell cast within
the room after the harridan has been killed ends the

contamination.

My question is...what are the bonus's (if any) to a potions/water in waterskins/wine/ales will saves? Am I just overlooking this in the DMG? Help! LOL.

Saving Throws: Nonmagical, unattended items never make saving throws. They are considered to have failed their saving throws, so they always are affected by spells. An item attended by a character (being grasped, touched, or worn) makes saving throws as the character (that is, using the character’s saving throw bonus).
Magic items always get saving throws. A magic item’s Fortitude, Reflex, and Will save bonuses are equal to 2 + one-half its caster level. An attended magic item either makes saving throws as its owner or uses its own saving throw bonus, whichever is better. *

Based on this, I believe that a player who moves within 20 feet of a rylkar harridan would roll a Fort save for each item of non-magical food or drink on his person using his own Fort save, and roll a Fort save for each of his magical potions or other magical "foodstuffs" at either his own Fort save or the item's CL+2, whichever is higher. Remember that the default caster level for a magic item is the lowest caster level possible to craft it.
