Karl isn't quite sure of what to make of the kobold as she starts looking for food.

Lily bristles with indignation at Karl's suggestion, "Rats is not food! Rats is a friend, and you be nice to him! His name is Squeaks!" Lily presents her familiar strongly towards Karl, and it's apparent that the beady eyed rat doesn't appreciate the comment either.

"Now cats are good foods. You see cats?"

Possum smiles at Oskar's gruff attitude, but doesn't say anything. And she chuckles at Lily's interest in Cats.

"If they weren't hired by Scrate, Oskar, then there's definately no reason to waste time. Let's see him tonight. I'm sure he'll be more than pleased to see us. Maybe he'll even have a towel."

Possum is going to head towards Scrate's dwelling, stopping after a few steps to see who will follow.

"don't worry oskar we wouldn't strike someone while his vulnerable" vindala says and pauses, giving a quick glance on Lily " well at least i wouldn't" vindala then follows possum and asks anyone that doest follow "you coming?"

Karl's eyes get wide at teh sight of the little squeeky rodent and does his best to appologize, " er, um, uh , rrrats ...yes friends, uh cats? no, no cats seen. and i don' think the red dragon serves caat aas a dish either...so sorry lilly...that must be goblins that like to eat rats, uh, er, ...not that i would cally you a goblin..." he looks around nervously and see possum leaving, " Possum! yes, good idea!" he says, not really knowing what she had said actually...

Oskar shakes his head in defeat and silently follows the group, dripping on the cobblestone road as he goes.

The party reaches the Alchemist and Taggit without further interruption.

The dive is a rickety wooden shack at the edge of the water. Its beams are rotten, and looks unstable. Inside, a host of shady characters enjoy a night of revelry.

The bartender, a muscular fat human with one eye, looks up at you with a scowl. Ruffians of all races populate the main tables, from a red-headed savage human woman to a smirking, worn halfling male who doesn't seem to care that you see him eyeing your pouches. The air smells of dirt, booze, the sea, and animals.
