Rotten DM
Ok, I ran this one 3 times. Once before Save vs Hunger. And twice at the con. So I just going to mash all three times into one post.
My home group I played as if they did not run in Then 01-01 At the con I had players who I DM for earlier in the day. And on Sunday two of players had gamed in the first module, so I took some of their story and used as some of introduction in part1.
Part 1. The buck and quarter nay the 2 buck half elf. AKA Why is the half-elf 7 foot tall? No group really cared about that but it appears to be a plot point. Except for the Sunday Save vs Hunger group, I think I was able to short change the initial reward. But I gave to them any ways at the end.
Part 2. In the city of Atlanta um Yrisgow. I always open with the brat throwing something in one of PC's faces. And then have the old man either body check the chaser, or interrupt the group. My home group was able to get the story award (insert evil dm laugh). But the Save vs Hunger groups would not bite, especially the Sunday Group (Jasper shakes his dm stick at them).
Part 3. Fishing for comments um pcs. The first two times I had an average group, the Sunday group was a strong so I used a very strong encounter. Combat was easy and even using rule of cool. I asked each group cool or no? They all chose cool so I gave the cave fisher an extra attack using it web thingy. Even bumping up the hit points on the monster the combat was generally a cake walk. (jasper shakes his dm stick at the Sunday group for jinxing his dice).
I did not start on time at the con for various reasons. One was waiting to get a full table, two it is a two hour module so no need to rush, and I was enjoying talking to the players.
Hugs and thumbs up to my Friday night group. THEY DID THE ADVENTURE IN 1 HOUR 9 MINUTES. New record. And they were not even trying. As they found my mistakes on my title sheets.
