Miracle could duplicate the effects of the lightning bolt.

Does using a scroll count as casting? If co, then a cleric with the magic domain could use a scroll of Lightning Bolt.

well you found the first way, cleric with magic domain.

as to the miracle, i mean actually casting the spell, but thats a good idea!

there is a way a plain vanilla cleric can cast lightning bolt.


its from a scroll, and it doesnt use the magic domain...

Could it be.. Call lightning?

Chain lightning, with the AIR domain?

thats my puzzler... other spells you can do this with are polymorph self and polymorph other... useful additions to your clerics arsenal.


course you could also have wizards casting cure's in a similair way as well.
