thats my puzzler... other spells you can do this with are polymorph self and polymorph other... useful additions to your clerics arsenal.


course you could also have wizards casting cure's in a similair way as well.

A scroll won't cut it with an arcane lightning bolt, as the spell still has to be on your class spell list to use it. You don't have to be the appropriate level to try, but the spell has to be on your class list.

Again, how do you get a divine lightning bolt on a scroll using the core rules?

scribe scroll lightning bolt... scribed by an Adept. Adept is a divine caster so spell is divine and useable by clerics.

scribe scroll cure light wounds... scribed by a Bard. Bard is an arcane user so wiz could use it.
