A Clash of Kings - Started off slowly, but things really get cooking in the middle part of the book. Will definitely move on to A Storm of Swords after this.

Lawrence Sander's First Deadly Sin

Disturbing how the serial killer grows and develops into the pure evil he is.

Makes me want to do a serial killer story in my Eberron stuff.

I just finished Terry Pratchett's Guards, Guards!, one of his Discworld novels. It was pretty entertaining. Next up is an old Robert Heinlein novel, Citizen of the Galaxy.

I finished the Hunger Games which is a pretty good young aduklt dystopian novel. There seems to be a lot of books like it coming out (dystopian genre) so I've got a huge list of summer reading material.

I'm still greatly enjoying Ultimate Marvel spiderman line.

James Joyce - Ulysses

Every once in a while I enjoy tackling something a bit more challenging than the usual sf/fantasy fare :)

James Joyce - Ulysses
Heh... the last time I tried, I made it %15 through, according to the e-reader I was using. Maybe next time...

Right now I'm reading Daniel Abraham's The Dragon's Path. So far it's the best fantasy novel I've read since Locke Lamora.

In 2000 the Modern Library put out a list of the best books of the 20th century (fan list and expert list). I've been slowly going through the fan list first and it covers a lot of fiction that is more literature. 18 books to go on the fan list of which Ulysses is one.

I finished At Swim-Two Birds off of that list this morning. It was an odd book that I liked what the author was trying to do but not the way he writes.

Finishing up The Prefect by Allister Reynolds in print. Next in line is Time Travelers Never Die by Jack McDevitt.

Agonizing over my next audiobook. I might try to get back into Kraken by China Mieville (which I dropped about halfway through many months ago). Or I might try to finish The Three Musketeers. While I figure that out I will do a repeat listen of Fortunes of War (Aubrey/Maturin #5).
