Starfinder Kaidan Star Empire (setting supplement)

After a long delay, I've finally completed this book, which is now called Kaidan Star Empire 1e, since I'm releasing it for Starfinder Roleplaying Game 1e. I was looking to try to release it as 2e, but too many things I don't know and really the loss of Themes kind of exploded my project, as I was heavily relying on them. So now I'll continue to rely on it, as I release this as First Edition.

The book is 130 pages long, contains over 125 illustrations, includes 4 new Alien Species (henge, kappa, same-bito and tengu), 6 new Themes for Geisha, Kannushi (Spirit Talker), Samurai, Sohei (Warrior Priest), Yakuza Kobun (gang member), and Union Member (commoner caste), 3 new starships with deck plans, a full binary star system of star and black hole, 8 planets , 2 asteroid rings, many moons and world maps.

Hard cover book $33, PDF is $10, or Free with purchase of book. (It should be released in a couple weeks)

Knowing that SF2 dropped Themes, replaced with PF2 style Backgrounds, I rely on Themes. I end up playing a Theme, and choosing a Class as its' best fit, not the other way around. Here's how I use Themes, posted below is a page from the Kaidan Star Empire supplement describing Sohei (Warrior Priest). As you can this Theme, get Theme Feats, and Theme Spells! This caster is designed to work with specific setting rules...

One of the new Alien Species is Henge, which in Japanese folklore are animal-based humanoids and limited shapechangers. Now I knew that granting any kind of "Shapechange" ability would OP, so I made it more like the folklore version. Henge can only appear in two forms, animal-based humanoid and human, they only have true forms in each of those, they cannot shapechange to any human or humanoid. But I still needed something to counter that powerful ability, so I gave it a Weakness, but it turns out that everybody likes the Weakness, as it gives a lot of flavor to this playable race. It's 2 pages... enjoy!

Replaced a couple illustrations in the guide for the Religion chapter. One depicts a Zaoist temple (pseudo Buddhist), though this one is apparently abandoned, and for a number of years seeing the overgrowth of the tree branches, grasses and bushes growing in it, with a geisha heading towards a haunted encounter, if not a midnight rendezvous. The second depicts a small Yokaishinto shrine.

Working on illustrations and then maps for my upcoming Kaidan low level adventure to utilize the Kaidan Star Empire 1e setting guide. This is the pirate town of Tozoku on the largest crater lake on the surface of Nezumi.
