So, I decided to update the first "Pre-Crossed Candles" treasure list again to make sure every item listed a condition. Plus, I added a Sell Value column.

There are a few specific items that the PCs can get more for, if they find the right buyers.

The blue sapphire is now listed as being excellent. While Vincenzo could sell it for 800 gp without haggling, he could get as much for it as 880 gp. The unique flawless diamond known as The Canary Diamond is estimated to be worth around 6,000 gp, but Vinny the PCs could sell it to the right buyer for as much as 7,500 gp. The diamond could also be auctioned off through the Museum of Sem La Vah.

(I still have to write the diamond's backstory.)

Both the +2 dancing dagger and the +2 feybane cold iron rapier are considered excellent items. That makes their sell values 70% instead of 60%. Tuck's new lucky boots also has a sell value of 70%.

Silagord's Spellbook is also considered to be excellent, so it is worth 110% of the standard sell value for spellbooks, but only to the right collector. The Wizard Council would only give Vinny the normal amount, so he'd have to find a private buyer.

The Unique Bolt Case is a functional art object that can be sold for either the standard 130 gp or for just over 160 gp to the right collector. It could go for more/less during an auction.

How much you guys get for these items will depend on whether you want to roleplay the sales. If not, the items are sold for the standard amounts. It's up to you guys.

Unique magical items now always sell for 70% of the items cost to create, as long as the Exemplars stay in the good graces of the city. Excellent items, whether magical or not, also sell for 70%.

Good items sell for 60%.

Fair items sell for 50%.

Items with minor damage sell for 45%. Damaged, grimy/poisoned, or poor items sell for 40%. Grimy/poisoned items that are cleaned first will sell for 5 to 10% more, however.

Any item that is flawed in some way will either be worthless or worth very little to sell.

The rules are different for gems and art objects, however. Pristine/Unique = 125%; Excellent = 110%; Good = normal value; Fair = 90%; Poor = 50%; Flawed = 25%.

Also, restricted items must be sold, legally, through the city and at most for half their value. (That's the Exemplar price.) Most merchants won't buy/sell restricted items without the city's approval, especially adamantine.

Notes Regarding The Canary Diamond (copied over from the Discord)
The one thing I've just figured out by looking at the first treasure list is that it was the Brelish thief named Shylock who Akos, Tuck, (and Relgar) encountered at the Silverbow Inn who had the three gems. That begs the question: Why did he have the Canary Diamond?

Did he steal it from Kelik? Is that why he disappeared on route to being take to the Old City Barracks? He hasn't been seen since. And if Shylock did steal it from Kelik, where did the Brelish guildmaster get it? Did Phelix give it to him?

Also, the Brelish rogue/assassin who was captured/killed also has two gems on him, but his items were stolen on route to the barracks. Did the mystery thief steal the wrong pouch? Or did the PCs take Shylock's pouch at the scene? I think they did. He surrendered.

Regardless, the diamond's origin will not be local. It will be tied to one of the countries near Bluffside. It will have a long history with conflict and intrigue attached to it.

@Knightfall
For the record, I didn't go through all the spells and buy all the material components. Instead, I allocated 300gp for 'powdered silver' since a lot of spells require that and then I allocated another 1500gp on 'spell components' With the assumption that he has the appropriate spell components like diamond dust and rubies or augury foci. (I actually think I bought augury components). Obviously, things that specifically say 'rare' (like 'rare incense') we can discuss whether or not he has that.

I hope that's ok.
That should be fine.

So, you want to use 1,000 gp of your components for the identify spells? Is that why you're letting me know? Or is it just FYI.
