Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

Maybe deWar needs the time?

Anyhow, take care of yourself, no need to finish either fight now, we can resume later. Unless the demon, or whatever that new thing is, undying and Green flame can stop us from running away, you can just tell the story.

If the bad guy has minimal time advantage now, we can divine stuff, unstone the Wizard, uncurse the knight and find out stuff from the genie in couple of days while the casters prepare.

And divinations...we have names now. Find their weaknesses, we go prepared next time.

And maybe visit that star sea without worrying about the time spent out of the city.

And the best thing is, the questions can be done while you're recovering

Okay, so the first thing I want to make sure is that you guys are still in for a restart of both of the games in the New Year. I'm thinking middle to the end of January to give everyone time to recover from the holiday season.

Also, if we do continue, I'm going to jump forward significantly for Heroes of Carnell to the confrontation with Eike. There will be a few lead in posts to set the mood before that fight.

For Crisis in Bluffside, I'm thinking more of having the current combat come to a quick end with some explanation as to what happens as the players retreat and the Loyalists follow. I'm not sure how I'm going to work it, but there will be exposition. I have to think about it more.

after much contemplation:

I’m happy with however you want to continue.

For Crisis in the Bluffside, if you are narrating the end of the fight, I’d like to just throw out there that Vitus was trying to ‘save’ the unconscious Loyalist.

Whether that succeeds or not or even if she believes she’s being ‘saved’, is up to you.

Vitus thinks she’ll be punished for failure and also thinks she will have valuable information. He also wants to give her a chance to switch sides.

For Tuck and Mutt, I'm also going to have them exit the game once we get going again. Tuck's exit from the game will be a permanent removal.

He'll likely be in a few scenes to wrap up the encounter that stalled, but after that, he will be going off to find the dragori druid and the warden of Stormgrove Manor. He does this on his own... unless you guys absolutely want the PCs to go with him to find them.

As I noted on Facebook (I think) and on the Discord, I want to concentrate on Heroes of Carnell for at least a few weeks before we dive back into the Bluffside game.
