Kulan: Knightfall's Crisis in Bluffside Game [OOC]

Imninon (soul stolen): raises two more dead Loyalists (as zombies). Full-round action, plus 5-ft. step.

Wight Enchanter: Moves; casts a spell (still to be determined). And, yes, it still has its spell component pouch. Vinny took the Enchanter's staff, but I'm 99% sure neither he nor anyone else took the dead enchanter's spell component pouch.

Khagron (vampire): 5-ft. step; full attack vs. Tim and Viscardi. Primary attack vs. Tim. Secondary attacks vs. Viscardi.

Viscardi: If he survives, he withdraws from the fight, once again, and is out of the Labyrinth.

Savage Skeleton Warrior (turned): flees away from Vitus.

Wight Enchanter casts Ice Storm (standard action) and drops it on Tim, Custodio, and Maggs. Cylinder (20-ft. radius, 40 ft. high). Last 1 full round. No saving throw. Spell Resistance applies. 3d6 bludgeoning damage and 2d6 cold damage. -4 to Lisyen checks while within the storm. All land movement is at half-speed.

Request: 3d6 Roll: [6, 4, 3] = 13 (bludgeoning)
Request: 2d6 Roll: [4, 4] = 8 (cold)
Reason: Ice Storm damage

Khagron's attacks vs. Tim and Viscardi.

Request: 1d20+19 Roll: [9] = 28 (miss vs. Tim)
Request: 1d20+19 Roll: [13] = 32 (miss vs. Tim)
Request: 1d20+14 Roll: [11] = 25 (hit vs. Viscardi)
Reason: Khagron (full attack) vs. Big Tim and Viscardi

Knightfall Request: 1d6+5 Roll: [2] = 7 Reason: Damage to Viscardi
Viscardi also suffers another two negative levels.

Viscardi cannot make it past the vampire and Ice Storm in his current condition. Either the vampire will kill him or the Ice Storm will. He takes a 5-ft. step back, takes a potion from his belt, and drinks it down. He will try to flee past the undead next round (if he survives that long).

Round 8 - Vitus is Up Next.png

The conundrum I am having is that Tim would never leave an ally behind, even if that ally were part of a temporary truce, and not completely trusted. It doesn't matter that Viscardi is possibly treacherous. What matters is that Tim is honorable, and that he is now confronted by TRUE evil. Of course, it is still considered within his LN alignment to act for the better good and retreat with the others. So what I am thinking is that if there is room to cover Viscardi's escape without exposing myself, I will do so. If not, I will probably just end up withdrawing and retreating.

Just weighing my options... would I be able to move here (as indicated on the map below) without provoking an AoO from the vampire?

No. That's a movement of 10 feet for Tim, not 5 feet. Also, while in the range of the Ice Storm spell, Tim can only move at half speed. Since his movement is hindered, he cannot take a 5-ft. step while the spell is in effect and he's in its area of effect. Now, you can have Tim wait until the spell effect ends at the Wight Enchanter's turn in Round 9, and then take a 5-ft. step to the spot note below. He would not take an AoO that way.

The magical hailstones do not leave any trace after the full round is over, so there is no movement penalty after the spell ends.
