Lego + war games = awesome!

I couldn't find any threads on this but thought it might be up some peoples alleys around here.

I know most people might be getting kickstarted out. But seriously. This made me want to rush out and get lego more than any thing in recent memory has made me want to rush out and throw money at it.

I have regretted giving my Legos away- admittedly to a children's charity when I went to college- since I did it. I especially regretted it after seeing those constructible card games, Pirates or the Spanish Main and Rocketmen. A good set of Legos could have subbed for those tiny cards...

yeah the loss of a lego set is a terrible thing. I think mine went in a pre-move garage sale years ago. Looking at the price of lego I think whoever bought it got a steal. This game however really makes me want to build little anime robots out of lego. Over the years I've seen some pretty nifty things made out of lego but few have actually been something that made me think "hey! I could do that."

People have been playing wargames using Legos since at least the early 90s. The original I saw played with regularity was Lego Wars, which hit some legal difficulty for using the name Lego. There was also Brikwars.
