Keep on the Shadowfell Dungeon

Searching the Torture Chamber, the heroes find the fire pit and iron maiden, of course, and the cage in the Southeast corner of the room. Searching the bodies of the fallen goblins and the brutal hobgoblin, you find a total of 50 sp and 55 gp (the gold is all on the hobgoblin), and the hobgoblin is wearing a remarkably fine suit of Hide Armor that practically screams to be inspected further. Down the passageway to the west, you see barred cell doors set into the north wall at intervals, three total. From behind one of the cells further down the hall, you hear the plaintive mewling of what sounds like another goblin. "Ohhh, please, have you come to rescue me?"

"Let's go have a look at what a hobgoblin would make a prisoner of." Basher7 advances down the hall glancing in each cell.

OOC: We'll take that hide armor along for future investigation.

OOC: Just gonna carry the armor? Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

*Further update coming tomorrow, regarding the cells.*

Tarrk

Tarrk inspects the armor. Maybe it will be useful for him. Whoever screams there can surely wait a little longer.

[sblock=OOC]

Has somebody to identify the armor? If yes, how?

Basic attack roll is 1d20+9;1d12.minroll(3)+4

[sblock=For Lou the Mage]Elerosse can definitely feel the aura of dweomer tickling his senses when he gets close to the armor and inspects it.[/sblock]

[sblock=for DM only]
PH p. 181 Detect Magic is a DC20 +lvl/2 skill check using Arcana. Elerosse is +12 Arcana, so that's a 22 if he takes 10. He should be able to detect up to a level 4 magical effect out 7 squares in all directions. Any other magic around?
[/sblock]

Elerosse takes a full minute to survey the armor and the area around him (out 7 squares in all directions) for magic of any kind. He finally says, "This hide armor is definitely magical."

Keep on the Shadowfell Dungeon, Elerosse's inspection of the armor

[sblock=Elerosse]Cool! I was not aware of that magic detection thing, actually. The armor is +1 Bloodcut Hide Armor.
[sblock=Armor's Daily Power]The +1 to AC is constant, but once per day, when bloodied, the wearer can use the armor's daily power to gain Resist 10 All until the end of his next turn.[/sblock][/sblock]
