Leif's 'The Hall of the Rainbow Mage' [A] (D&D 3.5 OOC)

hehe the cabal under construction definitely needs some metal-wrapped meat-shields up front. I think a full DR crusader from ToB could be very interesting.

I prefer the 3.x myself as well but 4e is not bad actually.. I just have very little experience with it. and no experience at higher levels in 4e...

Okay, then.....

If you really do start something around this level, let me know Leif. I'd be interested. Not sure what I'd play, but it would definitely be fun to try something a little higher level. I do have a wizard concept of my own around that level that I never really got a chance to try out...but there are several other PCs I'd like to try too.

to tell you the truth, I have so many concepts that I want to play that anything double-digit would work for me. It's just that some of these characters don't work (or don't work well.. or just aren't as much fun.. etc) at lower level.

If we're talking 12th, I've got an Arcane Heiorphant, a Dual-wielder, A Luck-based character(Using Fortunes Friend from Complete Scoundrel), a Gray-guard(Complete Scoundrel), and a Spirit Shaman/Monk, as well as various fighter-types, and warlock playstyles (Some melee, some ranged, some dual-classed via complete mage PrC's),

ohhh wowww... Leif is potentially running another game? Count me interested. I always wanted to play a rogue/cleric Shadowbane Stalker (Complete Arcane).

Let me know if this takes flight :)

My character is a gray elf wizard with a golem manual.... and a WHOLE lot of scrolls bought and scribed into his spell books so he's a VERY diverse caster....

also.... not sure if there is such a thing but is there a way to heal a golem with magic immunity other than the Craft Construct feat?

I'm obviously going to be away for a few days, but I would be interested in a Leif-DM'd game as well :)

I could build an amazing "Defender" wizard by 12th level! Especially if he could have access to the Staff Fighting Feat. It could be an all wizard party.;)

<.<

>.>

If there's room, I could make a Wizard too, lol. Summoner most probably. Almost exclusively SRD content, unless this ends up starting a few weeks from now, in which case I might have access to some splatbooks.

Wow! I may have bitten off more than I can comfortably chew here, I guess. But, what the heck, let's see how it shapes up, shall we? So that makes a total of seven interested players so far. Sorry for hijacking your thread, Rathan, hope you don't mind, hehe. Looks like the party will be melee-poor, so, Jemal, you might want to take that into account when deciding about a pc. (Hint, hint!) I have no problem with any of the material mentioned so far, but I don't really know what some of it does even though I have all of the books mentioned. And I still haven't chosen a module to use, either. Why don't the seven of you (Jemal, Rathan, renau1g, kinem, CaBaNa, Rhun, and Theroc) finish working out who's going to play what, exactly, and maybe, with a little more luck, I'll figure out where I hid the rest of my brain, pick out a module to use, and we can then go from there? Sound like a plan?

Actually, seven might be a bit much, though. Rathan is IN, since it was his idea, and Theroc was the last to offer, but I hate to turn anyone away, especially since I'm a "hijacker" here. Somebody HELP me! I don't need to be running anther game! ;) (Maybe I'll survive?)

And anyone who can answer Rathan's 'golem question' is requested to do so post haste!

And BTW, kinem, I know that you are just looking to take some revenge against me for Bevin! :D hehehe

EDIT: Looks like I missed Vertexx69 and Merlin's Shadow. Totally unintentional, that! But I KNOW that 9 pcs is more than I can handle. And, to be clear, this would have to be a 3.5 game, so that may also weed a few of you out. 3.5 is cool with you, isn't it, Rathan, Oh Starter of the Thread?

(Looks kinda like this may be a sort of preview of things to come for my Whirtlestaff's Wizards Academy game, eh? I love wizards, for those of you who couldn't tell.)

I have a question about ToB Jemal. Am I the only one that thinks that manuevers are like spells in that you can prepare each one more than once? Or like a list of known psionics, where the player can choose how many times to execute any of them, within the total number of manuevers that can be prepared at any given time? (but has to prepare them ahead of time)
