Great. 3.5 is really the only choice for me to do this, because my own 4e game will be using all the high level modules that currently exist. (Eventually, that is.. the party is only first level now.)3.5 would be wonderful Leif and I realize that weeding some out is going to have to be nessiary... my suggestion to you is go first come first serve in that you take those who posted interest first... it's only fair I think.... and It would be an honor if you wanted to start another thread once you have found that precious gem that is the rest of your brain and pick a module you want to run and link it here to this one when you are ready.... I do want to toss a heartfelt thank you for offering to run a game for us addicts as well.. it was a real shot in the dark and wasn't expecting to get a reply... you are a good man and honestly... don't overexert yourself much with this one methinks.. it looks like you got a good group that aren't the HUGE power-gaming munchkin types really.. I think party creation will go smoothly..![]()

For 'weeding,' um, gosh do I have to decide? Rathan and Jemal are given, my 'buddies' who have posted to this thread are renau1g, Rhun, and kinem. I guess CaBaNa and Theroc can arm wrestle for a spot, which will give us six, which is a large party, but fairly manageable, I guess.
Thanks for your kind words, but don't be too generous with the praise until you actually see me DM! And, "precious gem?" Hehehe, there you go again, dude. My brain is currently a lump of coal. Let's hope that the pressure of this game can compress it into a diamond!
And I already have a name for the game: SHANGHAIED! (As in: "I've been Shanghaied and forced to DM!")
BTW, EnWorld experience points are an acceptable bribe...j/k
Maneuvers are not prepared like spells. You simply choose X number of maneuvers you know to become readied for use; you cannot choose any of them more than once at a time. You can change your set of readied maneuvers with 5 minutes of meditation or thereabouts. Each maneuver is expended after use, until you recover the maneuver with an appropriate action (as noted in each martial adept's description, otherwise just as noted in the Blade Magic chapter, through 5 minutes of meditation).I have a question about ToB Jemal. Am I the only one that thinks that manuevers are like spells in that you can prepare each one more than once? Or like a list of known psionics, where the player can choose how many times to execute any of them, within the total number of manuevers that can be prepared at any given time? (but has to prepare them ahead of time)
tankity tankity tank.
