The code of color is an easy way to identify what the sentence is suppose to be.
For example, when I write something, I use:
"I quote and put in yellow the speech"
I italized and put in yellow what I think
OOC: I put the OOC header and put in red all the OOC comments
Roll: I put the Roll header and put in Lime all the rolls I do
All description stay normal.
The only thing I find a bit sad, it is everyone have his own unique code. I would suggest to create a standard code. It would not be required to follow it, it would simply stay a suggestion, but if many people start to follow it, other will follow in the move, and we may finish with a standard color code for the board. I think it is important to say it is not mandatory to follow it, just suggested.

When I speak a language that a plyer may not understand, I put in as spoiler.
