Little Help?: Incorporeal Spell...

Hey, all.

Just wondering: Is there a WoTC-written spell that grants a target (or just the caster) specifically incorporeality? You know, like an incorporeal creature? I'm not looking for ethereal, a la jaunt or etherealness...

Any help would be great, guys.

I remember something called Ghostform in Tome and Blood. But it's been a while and my copy's out on loan to the party wizard...

EDIT: Accualy what I do remember about the spell it is has something to do with something vaguly ghostlike, and there's a number of people who think it's overpowered. May or may not have anything to do with Incorporeality....

From memory, Ghostform makes you, in essence, a manifested ghost.

In other words, you're simultaneously present on the Ethereal Plane and incorporeal on the Material Plane.

Great.

Ghostform was exactly what I needed. It's got everything to do with incorporeality, and helps me in my current designs...muhaha... It still has an ethereal effect, but it's a good springboard to work from.

Reminds me of that 2e classic, wraithform.

be incorporeal is being etheral but still have enough "reality" to affect prime plane (IMO) but still not completely ethereal too. a kind of Transitive state between Prime/Ethereal.

so it's normal you find ethereal entries "around" incorporeality.

Sure they can. Spells with the [Force] descriptor work normally on both incorporeal and ethereal creatures.

Not really. Apart from manifested ghosts, most incorporeal creatures have no connection to the Ethereal Plane at all.

Shadows and Allips are both incorporeal but not ethereal.

There's also the combination of Slay Living/Create Greater Undead. But I'm guessing that's not exactly what you meant
