Fried chicken and chocolate milk.

When you buy a candybar or something from a vending machine, and TWO fall out.

When you're playing basketball at the park, and you make that great play, and everyone goes "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!"

Solving a complex math problem and getting it right.

Oh yes, that always does it for me. Non-mathematicians can't appreciate this, but struggling for weeks on a problem, and the coming with a brilliant, beatiful solution is a wonderful experience. The other day, I proved two difficult problems. Never mind that they've already been solved - I'd just done the same thing that Erdos had done  That's the mental equivalent of climbing Everest.

Hmm ... I'da thought, Huw, that non slug devoured vegetable gardens growing beautifully would be a nice little thing that would make you smile. :D

I kid. I kid. Nice to see you in Off-topic again and hope your garden is growing beautifully! :)

- As a DM, the big damage fighter steps up and crits 2 of his 5 attacks. The creature had less than 10 HP to go anyway. Wasted 125+ points.

LOL

That happens a lot. You're like "Woohoo I get to roll a TON of dice!" ANd then the DM says "we'll just take that trolley off the board, he only had 2 HP left anyways"

 DAMNIT! :\ (I usually roll them anyways. Just for effect.) :D
