Living Supers - General Discussion Thread

Looks like we're good now. It's a matter of text sounding more pointed than it was.

And for my 2 cents, as I said before that I agree with Velmont that more character judges may be needed, we'll see if we get backloged/overwhelmed fairly quickly, but right now there's not a lot of submissions.

BTW, I'll open up the HQ thread once we get a few characters up. 2 blank sheets (Working on that), and 3 other characters submitted by 2 players doesn't consitute a good opening of HQ ;). Start submitting folks. If we have issues, we'll let you know.

Also, no missions submitted for approval yet, or at least sent to me. But we're opening for business.

By the way, for the HQ thread. Same thing than LEW, that you can't have both character in it? I think in LEW, one reason was to prevent equipment swapping between characters, which doesn't apply here.

Yes, you can only have one character in any one location/thread at one time. If that's not mentioned, I should add it to the information thread. And I think I mentioned, you're welcome in the HQ thread with an unapproved character, but not on a mission.

Character reservation posts in the thread should hopefully be turned into real characters. I'm thinking the end of the year being a good deadline for that, which will give people a bit more time to get books, and such.

The Recruitment Thread in the Talking the Talk forum is up, which should help with an influx of new people. I'm hoping, that between all of us participating, we can keep it on the first page. If it's droping down, and you haven't added your 2 cents in yet, post in it to help keep interest up. Let's try to keep it to one post per person for the moment though (If I bump it 5 times, it looks bad)

As a side note, It looks like the equipment (vehicles and comms) has been approved. The only step that remains is for someone to build them, then we can add them to the relevant thread. Any takers?

The Comms should be easy. Just a range, encryption, and that's about it.

The vehical, that's a bit trickier, for besides a speed, we may need some maneuverability stats for it if it ever gets into combat (Which might be bad, given it's unarmed itself).

Can we just leave them as plot devices? Its not like they are anything but, they go inoperable at whim, they don't cost PP, just nail down a speed for the Vigilants, and thats pretty much all we need. The communicators can be World Wide and Encrypted, and just leave them at that.

If you want I guess I can make them, when get home again.

I think it could be fun to have the stats of them, it would allow masters to use them in adventure if he want to. Who knows, a plane may be crashing on the way and an hero have to pilot it. Maybe a villain will try to scramble the signal of the commlink. Having stats of them will just help and I doubt it will hurt.

I'm not too worried about it till it is needed, so we can slowly get them up, but some basics would be nice.

FYI - A fairly usefull character building sheet can be found here if you have Microsoft Excel or something compatable.

Ok, this is a more general question. Gun Monkey needs 2 Prehensile Feet. The additional Limbs power doesn't cover that (in fact, oddly, it doesn't cover extra legs). How do you propose I handle this?

The basic idea is that his feet are perfectly capable hands as well. (Yes, I already have Abidexterity and a Tail)
