Ok, someone explain this to me.
Super-Speed - 5 pp/rank
Gives you Quickness (1 pp/rank) and Speed (1 pp/rank), +4 initiative per rank (Improved Initiative equivilent 1 pp/rank), and a free power feat.
Now, granted, the powerfeats available are interesting, but not unreplicatable (at least most). But...
A) Any Alternate powers you take nullifies all of the above powers when in use. (so your alternate power strike nullifies your initiative as well as your speed, so you can either walk normaly and smack someone hard, or run realy quick and smack them with a normal unarmed attack, for example)
B) The same powers could be bought at 2 pp/rank or less, and function at the same time, and potentialy be alternates of each other.
C) You're paying 2 pp/rank more for this setback than the initial power set.
Now, other than for the 1 or 2 unrecreatable power feats, (Rapid Attack, and potentialy Rapid Fire), why would you pay for this power unless you were realy wanted all those other alternate powers and didn't need any of them at the same time?
Or am I missing something?
